1 May 15 th 2013 In this week s Cash Cow Newsletter I d like to review the current performance of last week s profit opportunities and look at some new profit opportunities for the May 24 th expiration. Let s first take a look at the recent performance of the S&P 500 Index: As you can see from the chart, the S&P 500 Index has been on a tear in recent weeks, reaching several new all-time highs. Buying pressure has been consistent which confirms this strong price up-trend. 1

2 Last week we looked at 3 call option purchase profit opportunities. The first opportunity we looked at last week was XLV. The ETF has increased 3.4% since Thursday s close. With good buying pressure still present, we should consider rolling this trade over into the June 2013 monthly expiration, as XLV does not trade weeklys. The next profit opportunity we looked at last week was PCL. The stock increased 2.27% since Thursday s close. With good buying pressure still present, we should consider rolling this trade over into the June 2013 monthly expiration, as PCL does not trade weeklys. The last profit opportunity we looked at last week was WAG. The stock increased an impressive 4.64% since Thursday s close, providing nice profits for those who participated in this trade. WAG closed between the middle and upper Keltner Channels today. With buying pressure still consistent, we can consider rolling this trade over into next week s May 24 th expiration. Now let s take a look at this week s new profit opportunities. With the market still in a strong up-trend and consistent buying pressure present, we will continue to focus on taking long positions through call option purchases. 2

3 The first profit opportunity we ll look at this week is T (AT&T): We looked at a call option purchase on T earlier this month. Buying pressure has remained steady since then, and today the stock closed on the middle Keltner Channel. We can take advantage of future price growth by initiating a call option purchase on T for the May 24 th expiration. 3

4 The next profit opportunity we ll look at is LLY (Eli Lilly): High Probability Buy Signal s Eli Lilly discovers, develops, manufactures, and sells pharmaceutical products worldwide. The company has good financials that includes consistent annual Equity and Retained Earnings growth over the past several years. As you can see from the chart, LLY recently produced a High Probability Buy signal. Stocks that produce this signal usually rally in future weeks. LLY has already gained in price since then and has a chance for continued success. We should consider purchasing a call option on LLY for the May 24 th expiration. 4

5 The final profit opportunity we ll look at this week is AET (Aetna Inc.): Aetna operates as a diversified health care company that offers Health Care, Group Insurance, and Large Case Pensions in the United States. Over the past several years the company has consistently increased their Equity. With the stock trading in a 50/100-Day EMA up-trend that s confirmed through the presence of an up-sloping On Balance Volume, we should consider purchasing a call option on AET for the May 24 th expiration.
