The value of shares traded was down per cent to $14,797, from the previous week s value of $17,078, The volume leader this week was Sagicor Financial Limited (SFC) capturing per cent of the market activity or 903,426 shares traded. In second place was NCB Financial Group Limited (NCBFG) with per cent or 167,165 shares traded, followed by GraceKenndy Limited (GKC) with 7.10 per cent or shares traded. The Indices ended the week in a mixed territory. The Composite Index down by 0.27 per cent or 3.37 points to close at 1, The All Trinidad and Tobago Index decreased 0.41 per cent or 7.08 points to end at 1,723.42,

2 this was attributable mainly to the decline in share price of Ansa McAl (AMCL) and Guardian Holdings Limited (GHL). The Cross Listed Index closed at , an increase of 0.06 per cent or 0.06 points this was attributable mainly to the increase in the share price of GKC. The advance to decline ratio was 7 stocks advancing and 7 stocks declining, while 4 stocks are at their 52 week high and 5 stocks at their 52 week low. The major advance was GKC this week up 3.09 per cent or $0.09 to close the week at $3.00. In second place was Trinidad and Tobago NGL Limited (NGL) with an increase of 0.85 per cent or $0.25 to end at $29.50, which was its 52 week high and also has been in the top three advances for the past three weeks. Massy Holdings Limited (MASSY) was in third place up 0.43 per cent or $0.20 to close at $ AMCL was the major decline this week, a decrease of 3.17 per cent or $1.90 to close at $58.00, followed by GHL with a 2.35 per cent drop or $0.40 to end at $ In third place was Prestige Holdings Limited (PHL) down by 1.28 per cent or $0.13 to close at $ There was no activity on the Second Tier Market this week. On the TTD Mutual Fund Market 40,671 CLICO Investment Fund (CIF) units traded with a value of $824, CIF s unit price closed at $20.27, an increase of 0.10 per cent or $0.02. Treasury Bill Issue Number 1562, amounting to $75 MM with a tenor of 91 days, was issued on March 28, 2018, will mature next week on June 27, Bonds There was no trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange Bond Trading Market this week. Liquidity The Commercial Banks closed this week with an excess reserve of $2.4 B compared to $2.7 B last week, down by $0.3 B.

3 Regional News S&P Global Ratings revised its outlook on Barbados Sovereign Credit Rating long term local currency on June 6 th, 2018 to CC, 2 notches down from its previous rating CCC in September An obligation carrying a credit rating of CC has a higher risk of nonpayment or lower recovery compared with obligations that are rated higher. Since S&P s rating review was announced in the second week of June, Barbados Sovereign bond yields had a steep increase and then continued to move downwards gradually as the government is committed to a restructuring plan and hinted to seeking assistance from the Inter- American Development Bank (IDB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In coming days the government will release details on the scope of restructuring and what debt instruments will be included and excluded. The graph below depicts the movement of price and yield over the past 4 weeks on Barbados Sovereign bond. Bloomberg - Eurodollar bonds maturing in 2035 rose as much as 2.3% to above cents on the dollar after the Barbados Government said it is committed to equitable treatment across all creditor categories as it formulates a restructuring plan. United States Treasury Bills The yield on 10-year notes opened at 2.92% and closed the week at 2.90%, down 2 basis points (bps). The yield on 2-year notes opened and closed the week at 2.54%. News Bloomberg - U.S. stocks climbed following gains in Europe as OPEC s plans to boost output less than some investors had anticipated sent oil on a tear. Energy shares outperformed, offsetting weakness in the biggest technology companies. The S&P 500 Index dropped from its high of the day after Donald Trump revived concerns about a global trade war with a tweet threatening to impose 20 percent tariffs on cars imported to the U.S. from European Union. Treasuries steadied and the dollar dipped, while a gauge of emerging-market currencies climbed from its lowest level since November.
