20 SUSI Partners innovation in fund marketing & sales Renewable Energy Energy Efficiency Energy Storage and Grid Global investment in renewables (without hydro), at $265.8 billion, was more than double dollar allocations to new fossil fuel power, 27% of total energy consumption must originate from renewable energy sources by Approximately 1tn must be invested to reach this goal. 1 Energy efficiency retrofits allow for the highest emission savings per euro invested. To reach EU-2030 targets annual investments of roughly 100bn in energy efficiency retrofits are necessary. 2 Globally, the investment need is greater than 1tn Energy Storage capacity is needed to make renewable energy available when demand is there. 24 Regulation: Data transfer, data protection and transparency and the impact on GPs GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Adoption in April 2016 enforcement date 25 May 2018 provisions that require businesses to protect the personal data and privacy of EU citizens for transactions that occur within EU member states The GDPR also regulates the exportation of personal data outside the EU Concerned: oursourcers handling YOUR client data, client contracts, data flows GDPR leaves much to interpretation at this stage. 24
