Establishing a level playing field, strengthening short-term markets and unlocking demand response alone will generate cost savings of at least 9.5 billion/year by 2030 A coordinated approach to resource adequacy provides total capacity savings of approx. 80 GW (EU 28) corresponding to 4.8 b /year of investments.
