2 Strengthening Europe's energy network PCIs Foundations laid down in the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU Trans-European networks Title XVI Article (Legal basis for Regulation (EU) No 347/2013 ) TEN-E Regulation (No 347/2013 > TEN-E guidelines) To accelerate and facilitate development in good time of key energy infrastructure =>PCIs, including electricity lines, storages, smart grids, gas pipelines, etc. Effective working method; 12 priority corridors where regional groups decide and work on implementing PCIs addressing their specific needs. Comprehensive toolbox with the specific measures aimed at: o accelerating and facilitating the permit granting process, o o enhancing early public engagement, improving regulatory frameworks/treatment of PCIs, CEF FOR TEN-E PCIs o providing financial support to PCIs incl. CEF CEF ENERGY
