4 Where do we stand, what is coming? Three products launched since July 2015: COSME Loan Guarantee Facility enhancement InnovFin SME Loan Guarantee enhancement ADDITIONALITY: faster rollout, broader geography, higher guarantee volumes EUR 2.5bn boost to 'Risk Capital Resources', a facility investing in venture capital and equity funds Further products to be launched in 2016, often with national promotional banks, to support: equity financing, including tech transfer, business angel finance and funds-of-funds 'Equity Investment Platform' securitisation of SME loan portfolios lending to innovative companies that lack collateral
5 Equity Investment Platform Developed along with national promotional banks and other promotional institutions: equity financing to SMEs and mid-caps in all stages of their corporate life cycle up to 1.8 billion EUR* to be invested in equity funds, funds-of-funds or directly in SMEs through co-investment vehicles matching funds to be sought from national promotional banks for most of this amount launching in early 2016 * Best estimate based on current assumptions: may well change
