3 The Bank About 100 Years of Company History In 1924 North Channel Bank GmbH & Co. KG (NCB) was founded as the privately owned bank Bankhaus Oswald Kruber with its head office in Berlin. In 2009 it was acquired and renamed North Channel Bank by a North American group of investors with experience in US Life Settlements. In the following years, the bank developed into one of the leading institutions in the financing of US Life Settlements. Through the acquisition of its affiliate NorthStar Life Services, LLC in 2013, the bank gained access to a reliable, experienced, and renowned servicer in the US Life Settlement market. Today, the bank offers not only financing but also investments in US Life Settlements. In Structured Finance, the bank focuses in particular on financing in the renewable energy sector, (focus: equity bridge loans), capital goods financing, and acquisition finance. 3

10 Business Development Diversification 2.0 The diversification process started in 2014 did not work as planned in several subsections. In 2017, the new management of the bank closed several of these areas. The Bank's assets were systematically reduced and its professional expertise in the continued and newly acquired areas was expanded. The basis for a growth strategy geared to the needs of our target customers is in place. 10
