(NYSE: WMT) and Advent Internatinal, ne f the largest and mst experienced glbal private equity investrs, annunced that Advent has agreed t invest in a majrity stake in Walmart Brazil t strengthen the business and psitin it fr lng-term success. Under the terms f the agreement, Advent will hld 80 percent f Walmart Brazil, and Walmart Inc. will retain the remaining 20 percent upn the cmpletin f the transactin. The transactin is subject t regulatry apprval in Brazil.
