Established roles and responsibilities of internal and external players. Identified the action plan, and reviewed the process and controls, including the implementation of the system (claims process: from >4 years to <6 months). Based on risk analysis and opportunities identified, implemented loss control Minimized the impact of losses on the financial results.

Training: based on responsibilities in the process. Theft in Trains and Trucks Improved security for loading/unloading operations Improved quality of hoppers seals Transferred risk to carriers Reviewed contracts and requirements to carriers (i.e. drivers training, etc.) Misappropriation (Storage) Review and improve controls and records in the warehouses Review and fulfill the requirements of the policy (i.e. inspections, records, controls, security, etc.) Maintain constant communication with areas involved.

11 Loss Control Security measures Ensure appropriate contracts with carriers Require and verify legal status, solvency and background of the carrier Drivers with more than 5 years in the carrier company Route planning with pre-established stops for fuel load and food. Avoid travel on federal highways. Only travel on toll roads. Do not travel at night Using GPS in cabin and trailer Trucks in proper operating condition Trucks with visible security measures Traveling in convoy 11
12 Mitigation, Salvage, Recoveries Mitigation The Insured must take all necessary actions to mitigate the loss (Policy requirement). Immediately give notice to their base and control authorities (MP). Give notice to the appropriate authorities (MP), Confirm notice and prove the ownership of the goods (legal representative) Request safeguard of the goods to the authorities. Salvage Safeguard affected goods (I.E Grains be sold); (Avoid abandonment as it is excluded in the policy) Salvage template agreed with the insurer (filled by adjuster and signed by insured s legal representative). Rapiña an accident occurs and nearby villagers take the goods (Double deductible could apply). Subrogation/Recoveries Submit formal claim against the carrier, prescription 6 months, Civil Code and Commercial Code. By law: 15 X (MX$ ) X Ton. If weight <200Kg, 3 X (MX$ 73.04). Amount deducted from insured s compensation. 12
