1 Page 1 CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank Visa Debit Go Cashless 2016 Summer Promotion TERMS AND CONDITIONS PROMOTION: refers to this specific Visa Debit Go Cashless Summer Promotion offered by CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank ( the Bank ) wherein Eligible Cardholders who make purchases with their CIBC FirstCaribbean Visa Debit Card within the Promotional Period are eligible win prizes. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: Purchase transaction date must be between 12:00 AM August 1, 2016 to 11:59 PM October 31, 2016 inclusive. ELIGIBLE VISA DEBIT CARD PRODUCTS: Visa Debit Classic Visa Debit Platinum Private Wealth Management Visa Debit Platinum Note: CIBC FirstCaribbean Visa credit cards and Convenience Cards are not eligible products for this Promotion. ELIGIBLE CARDHOLDERS Persons holding one or more Eligible Visa Debit Card Product with the Bank. The following persons are excluded: 1. Staff members whether current or previous and Directors of FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited and its subsidiaries 2. Immediate family of members of staff. This includes spouse, parents, children, siblings 3. Members of the staff s household which includes anyone who resides with the staff member, whether relative or non-relative (excluding short-term visitors to the household during the Promotional Period) All entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age prior to the commencement of the Promotional Period to be eligible for entry into the Promotion. The use of an Eligible Card Product to make an Eligible Purchase Transaction automatically qualifies the cardholder to participate in this Promotion ELIGIBLE TRANSACTIONS Point of sale and online purchase transactions with a transaction date within the Promotional Period made with an Eligible Card are eligible. Cash advances, credits, service charges or adjustments do not qualify as purchase transactions and are therefore not eligible for entry into this Promotion.

2 Page 2 Local currency equivalent of any purchase is calculated at the conversion rate prevailing at the time of purchase. Entries from unauthorized card use or made with lost or stolen or fraudulent CIBC FirstCaribbean Visa Debit cards are void and therefore not eligible for this Promotion. ELIGIBLE TERRITORIES Anguilla Antigua Bahamas Barbados Dominica Grenada St. Vincent St. Kitts St. Lucia TCI BVI St. Maarten Cayman PROMOTION MATERIAL Refers to all advertising materials for this Promotion as disseminated via print, electronic or social media; associated printed or electronic materials provided in the Bank s branches or sent directly to its customers and clients; and all related information appearing on the Bank s corporate websites, which the Bank in its sole discretion may change from time to time. HOW TO ENTER An eligible Visa Debit card must be activated prior to the Promotional Period and have purchases transactions with a minimum value of $50 USD or local equivalent during each month One (1) entry will be generated automatically for every US$50.00, or the local equivalent (using the currency exchange rate as at the date of the transaction), spent in any eligible purchase transaction made by a cardholder using an Eligible Card Product during the Promotional Period PRIZES Travel Voucher Prizes: Three (3) winners of travel vouchers valued at US$ each or local currency equivalent towards travel or hotel accommodation will be selected from the Eligible Territories. Grand Prize

3 Page 3 One (1) regional grand prize of a winner of 1 trip to Miami, Florida, inclusive of economy class return airfare for two (2) persons from the Eligible Cardholder s country of card issuance, and hotel accommodation at a three-star property for three (3) room nights based on double occupancy. The total nominal value of this prize is approximately US$2, or local currency equivalent. All prizes to be awarded at end of Promotional Period. The winners of the travel vouchers will be drawn randomly on November 7, 2016, from entries accumulated during the Promotional Period. The grand prize winner will be drawn randomly on November 7, 2016, from entries accumulated from all eligible territories during the Promotional Period. Travel Voucher prize winners will be excluded from the subsequent Grand Prize draw. Prizes are subject to availability and may be replaced with an alternate prize at the sole discretion of the Bank, subject to, where applicable, the approval of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission. Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission. METHOD OF SELECTION OF WINNERS Prize winners will be selected by random draw. All draws will be conducted at the Bank s Head Office in Barbados. The draws are conducted internally and the software used to conduct the draws is Microsoft SQL Server Management studio 2012 which queries a MS SQL version database called PrizeDraws. Winners will be drawn on November 7, 2016 with the assistance of CIBC FirstCaribbean s Technology team. Five (5) additional names will be drawn randomly from all eligible entries for each prize to be awarded. Names will be held in reserve in the event that CIBC FirstCaribbean is unable to contact the first winners by telephone using the number(s) provided by the customer as listed on the customer s account. All draws will be done in the presence of an audit representative chosen in the Bank s sole discretion. The results of the drawings are final and binding on all participants. METHOD OF NOTIFICATION The Bank s Debit card Product Manager with the assistance of staff in participating countries will assume responsibility for contacting the winners. Three (3) attempts will be made to contact each winner by telephone over a three (3) day period following the date of the prize draw between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. In the event the

4 Page 4 Bank is not able to make contact with the winner, the Bank will attempt to contact individuals from our reserve list in the order in which they appear on this list. HOW TO CLAIM PRIZES All winners selected are required to present valid Government-issued Photo Identification, such as a driver s license, national ID card or passport, along with their CIBC FirstCaribbean Visa Debit Card, at the nearest CIBC FirstCaribbean branch. All prizes must be claimed by the winners within seven (7) business days of notification that they have won. If a prize winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) business days of notification, the Bank will contact the individuals listed on the reserve list in the order in which they were drawn. If the first reserve winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) business days of notification, the second reserve winner will be contacted. If the second reserve winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) business days of notification, the third reserve winner will be contacted. If the third reserve winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) business days of notification, the fourth reserve winner will be contacted. If the fourth reserve winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) business days of notification, the fifth reserve winner will be contacted. If the fifth reserve winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) business days of notification, CIBC FirstCaribbean will retain the prize. Winners of the airline ticket, accommodation and travel vouchers prizes are responsible for all travel documents including compliance with all necessary immigration requirements for entry in to the country. The prize is non-transferrable and will expire if not redeemed before October 31, Winners must sign a campaign release / indemnity prior to travel OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PROMOTION 1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant in the Promotion is deemed to have waived any right he/she has or may have against CIBC FirstCaribbean and its officers, servants, employees, representatives and/or agents (including without limitation, any third party service providers or participating Merchants that CIBC FirstCaribbean may engage for the purposes of the Promotion) in respect of any loss or damages howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the Promotion even if CIBC FirstCaribbean has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance. In no event, shall CIBC FirstCaribbean be liable for indirect or consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages or loss of profit.

5 Page 5 2. The winners in the Promotion will also be required to confirm their relationship to CIBC FirstCaribbean Staff members. If they are unable to confirm they are neither an immediate family member nor a member of the same household of a staff member of CIBC FirstCaribbean (as defined in the Eligible Cardholders clause) they would have forfeited the prize and CIBC FirstCaribbean will move to the first reserve name drawn, and so on in the order in which they were drawn. The winners will be asked the skill-testing question at the time of notification. If they are unable to correctly answer the skill-testing question, they will forfeit the prize and the Bank will contact the individuals listed on the reserve list in the order in which they were drawn. Reserve winners will be required to correctly answer the skill-testing question in order to be awarded the stated prize. The Bank reserves the right to reallocate any prize to a reserve winner. Winners hereby agree to take part in any publicity event(s) arranged by CIBC FirstCaribbean resulting from this prize draw. If the winner declines to participate in any publicity event, they will have forfeited the prize. CIBC FirstCaribbean reserves the right to reallocate the prize to a reserve winner at any stage. Participants will be asked to agree to be bound by the terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the Promotion Material. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Bank will not be liable for any changes to prizes occurring outside of its control. Substitutions will not be available. Images used in advertising are representational only and may differ from actual prizes awarded. Prizes are not transferable.
