1 1 Introduction: Scope of Work M/s. Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company SAOC (Orpic) is one of the largest government owned companies in the Sultanate of Oman. Orpic is the brand name for Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company. Orpic represents the integrated management of three operating companies, Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Company LLC (ORPC), Aromatics Oman LLC (AOL) and Oman Polypropylene (OPP). Orpic is now seeking to avail services from the Reputed Suppliers for the Maintenance, Painting, and Civil Defense Approved Party Hydro test Certificate for 5000 Gln Vaccum Truck at its Sohar Refinery. 2 Purpose: The purpose of this document is to define the scope of work for the Service Contractor which will be carried out for 5000 Gln Vaccum Truck Maintenance, Painting, and Civil Defense Approved Party Hydro test Certificate at Sohar Refinery. 3 Definition: For the purpose of this contract, the following terms shall have the meaning; Owner: Oman Oil Refineries & Petroleum Industries Company SAOC (Orpic) Contractor: The contracting company which is going to be selected to provide the services outlined hereunder. 4 Detailed Scope of Work: 4.1 Maintenance, Painting, of Vaccum Truck at Orpic Sohar Refinery, as per the following details; No. Name of Equipment Manufacturer Quantity Capacity 1 Vacuum Truck HINO 1 5,000L 4.2 The Contractor work scope shall include, but not limited to the following; Compound pressure gauge, safety, pressure, vacuum valve to be replaced & calibrate Level indicator glass tube to be change All the outlet & inlet valve fittings to be change Rear door beading change Installation and supply of Blackner pump RAL Test and certify Blackner pump RAL 485

2 4.2.7 Make engine guard with 4 mm checker plate Damaged Fire extinguishers Validate Denting, Painting, Hydro Testing, water service, Reflecting stickers, Fuel tank stickers, Fire extinguisher service, Tale Lamp set changing, Rear bumper repair, Auto electrical jobs, safety/warning stickers, revolving lights, sidelights fixing, Orpic Sticker, sign writing, Sohar Muscat Muscat sohar towing charges. 4.3 Deliverables The Contractor deliverables shall include, but not limited to the following; Vacuum truck civil defense approved party hydro test certificate. 5 General Terms & Conditions of Contract: 5.1 Orpic general conditions of contract shall be a part of this contract. The contractor is advised to go through the same and comply with the conditions. 5.2 Contractor to arrange all PPEs required for the contractor s staff. 5.3 The contractor shall observe all safety precautions and obtain necessary work permits before carrying out the work. 5.4 Coordination of activities with Orpic authorities. 5.5 Only skilled manpower shall be deployed. They shall have relevant experience in the trade. They should be conversant with the related job and shall be able to communicate well in English. 5.6 All communication equipment required for the contractor s personnel shall be approved by Orpic authorities prior to use. 5.7 The contractor shall provide replacement if any of the supplied personnel becomes ill or unavailable for work. 5.8 Contractor shall ensure that his workforce is covered under the required Insurance as per Government rules & regulations. 5.9 Contractor shall be responsible for all supervision and coordination with Orpic site-in-charge The contractor shall be solely responsible for the good conduct and disciplined behavior of his personnel. In cases where disciplinary action requires dismissal from the Work Site, Contractor bears full responsibility for the removal/demobilization of such personnel from the site, and replacement with qualified staff in a timely manner that will not jeopardize the quality or continuity of safe operation of the facility The contractor shall maintain attendance record / time sheets of his personnel. These records shall be got countersigned by the Orpic Supervisor-in-charge. The contractor s payment shall be based on these records / time sheets All visa and applicable legal clearances required for working in Oman shall be arranged by the contractor.

3 5.13 The contractor shall arrange insurance for his staff, equipment and other properties The contractor shall be responsible for providing food and accommodation to his personnel The contractor s site supervisor shall fully cooperate with any Orpic representative Safety aspects shall be given utmost importance at all phases of the work scope and the Orpic site regulations shall be adhered to at all stages of the work The contractor is responsible to provide site emergency first aid and emergency services which will be available to all personnel active on the site. 6 Orpic Scope of Work: Orpic s scope of supply shall be limited to the following, notwithstanding anything on the contrary mentioned elsewhere in this tender document. 6.1 Supervision and guidance during repairs activities. 6.2 Issue of necessary gate passes Orpic and HSE induction training. 6.3 Approval of prior repair reports. 7 Mobilization & Schedule of Work Execution 7.1 The contract shall come into effect immediately on award. 7.2 Call off mobilization shall be 2 days from the date of intimation from Orpic. 8 Contract Period 8.1 The contract shall be valid for a period of 1 Year from the date of issue. 8.2 Further extension based on performance may be considered at the sole discretion of Orpic. 9 Work Completion 9.1 The jobs shall be required to be completed as per the agreed schedule. 9.2 On completion of the work, the Contractor shall immediately remove from the site his tools, equipment, left over materials, debris etc. 10 Contact Details: 10.1 The agreement shall include the contacts details including telephone numbers, Contact names, and and fax numbers etc The agreement shall also describe the procedure for call out/maintenance request, type of forms etc.

4 11 Working Hours: Scope of Work 11.1 Normal Refinery Working Hours is from 07:00 Hours to 16:00 Hours on all Working Days and weekly off days are Friday & Saturday. However, based on job requirement the Contractor shall be prepared to work on Round-the-Clock basis and/or on Holidays to meet the Schedule at no extra cost to Orpic. Orpic's discretion to work on extended Hours and on Holidays shall be binding on the Contractor. 12 Schedule of Rates 12.1 The bidder shall submit his price proposal with schedule of rates with all components of cost (See Attachment 1) 12.2 The Unit rates agreed shall remain the same over entire duration of the contract. 13 Payment 13.1 The Contractor shall submit his invoice within 30 days of completion of the work Only One invoice shall be submitted in a calendar month. The payment shall be released within 30 days of receipt of the certified invoice in Orpic Finance section There will be no payment, if the Contractor fails to execute the complete scope of work given to them No additional claim whatsoever shall be applicable unless a written approval is obtained from Orpic before execution of such work. 14 Technical Evaluation Criteria: Sr. Description Score 1 Tenderer Experience 25 2 Personnel Experience 25 3 HSE Compliance 15 4 Quality 15 5 Compliance with Scope of Work 20 Total 100 Passing score (below this score shall be disqualified technically) 75%

5 15 Exceptions / Deviations: 15.1 The offer shall in general comply with all terms and conditions of the tender. The tenders deviating substantially for the tender specifications, terms and conditions are liable to be rejected. However if there is any deviations in the offer submitted by the Contractor, the same shall be clearly mentioned as a spate attachment in the below format. In the absence of any such information in the below format, it will be taken that the Contractor confirms acceptance of all terms and conditions of the tender in full.
