The remainder of the balance is due 2 weeks in advance of the first day of camp. If payment is not received on or before the payment due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. Helmet Policy Every student is required to wear an ASTM-SEI certified helmet when they are on a horse. We will provide a helmet if the student does not have one. There is a 1 per day charge for this service. Weather Policy At the ELC horseback riding is an outdoor activity. However, parts of our program do not require a horse and can be done indoors. For that reason rain and/or thunder storms will not affect us. It is our policy to keep a close eye on the weather forecast and to follow weather advisories. Therefore we will close whenever there is the threat of severe weather, like: chance of tornado or hurricane Social Media Please check one of the following: I hereby authorize Equestrian Learning Center LLC to post images of me or my child/legal ward (the student) on social media, including but not limited to: Facebook; website and to use pictures/videos of me or my child/legal ward for promotional purposes in any other way. I do NOT give the Equestrian Learning Center LLC permission to post images of me or my child/legal ward in any form on social media or to use them in any other way. We provide one for 1 p. day if the student does not have a helmet. - Boots or shoes with small heels (to help prevent slipping through the stirrups). Recommendations for additional gear: - Sunscreen & hat. - Short sleeve T-shirt, long pants; - Full set of extra clothes (in case of an accident or a fun water fight); Food & Drinks: - Brown bag lunch; - Snacks (the outdoors makes hungry!); - Non-caffeinated drinks and/or water flavor enhancers; - Refillable water bottle (we provide drinking water). Electronic devices: All electronic devices are prohibited during lessons. Students who bring an electronic device, do so at their own risk, the Equestrian Learning Center LLC is not liable for any losses or damages. 5 of 5
