HK Japan has created Talent afé to support global-minded companies with their local recruiting activities, by connecting them with highly skilled mid-career professionals in a unique and innovative way: Rather than the anonymity of a large job fair, we would like to give HR professionals and candidates the opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere, while having a cup of coffee together. ompanies are able to use their resources efficiently by screening the qualification of participants before talking to them. Participation Fee The basic participation fee ranges from 200,000 to 350,000 (tax included) for Members of HK Japan and 300,000 to 450,000 (tax included) for Non- Members. discount of 10% is offered to all exhibitors signing up for both units. Please refer to the enclosed price list for details of the different fee levels. 7. Expenses included in the Participation Fee - Usage of the seminar room *P & Projector - Usage of the exhibition areas for all exhibitors *4 x Table (à W1800 x 450 x H720) *1 x Monitor *1 x White board *1 x Magnet board - Usage of the reserved meeting room for exhibitors to provide potential employees with company information - asic installation: *Public guidance lights, facilities, ceiling lighting, air conditioning *offee & Water *Wifi - The German hamber-staff rest area may be used by the participating company personnel - Placing the company information on visitor s invitation material - Expenses related to administration activities - Expenses related to promotion ofthe platform ny other items and related cost not specifically mentioned above have to be taken care of and borne by the exhibitor. 8. Registration n application for registration should be submitted to HK Japan using the enclosed application form. The signed form is legally binding on the applicant. ny special conditions or restrictions made on the application will not be accepted. If these are noted on the application form, they will only be legally valid if HK Japan has given its prior written consent. Submission of the written application constitutes the exhibitor s acceptance of these Rules for Exhibitors, the supplementary provisions in the service documents and the provisions of the order forms. ll stated contract texts are available for inspection in the office of HK Japan. The application is a binding offer by the exhibitor, which, provided it is not previously cancelled by the exhibitor, can be accepted by HK Japan up to the last day before the start of the event. If any registration information that the applicant submitted to HK Japan (including but not limited to the company address and contract person) has changed, the applicant shall promptly notify HK Japan of such changes. 9. dmission This event is open to companies in Japan, which are seeking bi-lingual employees. The decision as to whether an exhibitor will be admitted will be determined solely at the discretion of HK Japan. n applicant whose application is rejected shall not pursue any claim against HK Japan. 10. ssembly and ismantling ssembly: 7:30 9:30 ismantling: 17:00 19:00 The above time applies to all units. 11. 5 12. Terms of Payment HK Japan will issue an invoice together with the official confirmation of admission to the event. The invoice amount must be paid by ugust 28, Exhibitors whose applications are received after the deadline must pay the invoice immediately. In case of the exhibitor s non-appearance for whatever reason, HK Japan will not provide a refund. HK Japan may cancel the event or the unit if the total number of exhibitors that are admitted by HK Japan is less than 2. In case of cancellation of the event by HK Japan, HK Japan shall refund the participation fee to the exhibitors that have paid it. 14. Force Majeure If matters beyond the control of HK Japan or incidents of force majeure occur, HK Japan is entitled to postpone, shorten, lengthen or cancel the event, to evacuate and to keep evacuated, temporarily or for a longer period of time, one or more sections of the event or the entire stand space. laims for damages or withdrawal from the contract will not be accepted in such exceptional cases. If the event does not take place due to reasons beyond the control of HK Japan, HK Japan is entitled to claim up to 25% of the invoiced exhibiting fee as general compensation. mounts higher than the stated percentage can only be claimed if an exhibitor ordered the execution of additional work involving expenses. If the event has to be discontinued after opening, the exhibiting fee and any other charges paid will not be refunded. HK Japan is not liable to the exhibitor for damages and other disadvantages suffered by the exhibitor asa result of discontinuation. 15. Special greements ll agreements, individual approvals and special arrangements deviating from these Rules for Exhibitors must be confirmed in writing by HK Japan. 16. No Liability HK Japan shall NOT be held liable under any circumstances for any loss and damage (direct or indirect) arising out of or in connection with these Rules for Exhibitors and/or the event (including, but not limited to, any loss and damage concerning the goods or stand equipment brought to the event by exhibitors). Furthermore, it is explicitly understood that the HK Japan is not a party to any relationship whether contractual or otherwise that may arise between the Exhibitor and any potential employee visiting the event, and shall bear no liability for any circumstances which may ensue between the exhibitor and such potential employees. 17. Exhibitor s Liability The exhibitor shall be held liable for any damage culpably caused to persons or property by the exhibitor, his employees or representatives or by his exhibition goods and stand fittings. 18. Transportation ll shipments should be made by the exhibitor s own. The exhibitors must ensure, that the shipments arrive in due time for assembly (See 10). There is no parking. 19. Legal uthority HK Japan exercises legal authority within Mitsui uilding Management during the whole duration of the units. 20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Rules for Exhibitors shall be governed and construed by Japanese law. Tokyo istrict ourt shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes between HK Japan and the exhibitor arising from or out of these Rules for Exhibitors and the event. 21. Modification HK Japan may, from time to time, amend or modify these Rules for Exhibitors.
