1 rts & Crafts Vendor pplication The South Carolina Pecan Festival is currently accepting applications for the Tenth nnual South Carolina Pecan Festival which will take place on Saturday,. The Festival is open to the public from 10:00 am until 7:30 pm. and expected to attract over 55,000 people of all ages. To ensure success of vendors and attendees, care is taken to offer a variety of activities, food, shopping and entertainment. Please complete, sign and initial each page and return this application along with all fees, pictures and other required information by UGUST 2, NOTE: PPLICTIONS WILL BE PROCESSED S THEY RE RECEIVED ND IT IS NTICIPTED LL VILBLE SPCES WILL BE FILLED PRIOR TO THE UGUST 31, 2013 DEDLINE. PPLICTIONS WILL BE PROCESSED IN THE ORDER OF DTE RECEIVED ND MUST INCLUDE LL FEES, PICTURES ND OTHER INFORMTION THT MY BE REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR THE PPLICTION TO BE CONSIDERED. N INCOMPLETE PPLICTION WILL BE REMOVED FROM CONSIDERTION. pplications received after the deadline will be considered ONLY IF SPCE IS VILBLE and there will be a $30.00 late fee applied to applications received after the deadline. If a check or money order is submitted for payment with your application and that check or money order is returned for nonpayment for any reason, your application will be considered null and void and removed from further consideration. In addition, you will be responsible for a $25 processing fee and not be considered for future South Carolina Pecan Festival applications. The rts & Crafts vendor fee is $85.00 per one day outdoor space and must be remitted with this application. photo of sample merchandise must be included with your application. The approximate size of each rts & Crafts vendor space is 12 x12. The fee includes a special event City of Florence business license. Electricity is available for a limited number of rts & Crafts vendors. If you need electricity you will need to pay an additional $ Priority is given to crafters who make their own wares including but not limited to: Original rt, Basket Weaving, Calligraphy, Carving, Ceramics, Dolls and ccessories, Glass crafts, Leather, Jewelry, Needlework, Papermaking, Photography, Pottery, Quilting, Sculpture, Weaving and Woodworking. The Pecan Festival Committee reserves the sole right to select any and all participants. In addition to the criteria listed in Item #2 below, applicants will be approved based on prior participation and cooperation, product duplication, utility requirements and spirit of cooperation. 2. pplications will be processed in the order of date received and must include all fees, pictures and other information that may be required in order for the application to be considered. n incomplete application will be removed from consideration. 3. pplications received after the deadline will be considered ONLY IF SPCE IS VILBLE and there will be a $10.00 late fee applied to applications received after the deadline. THIS FEE MUST CCOMPNY THE PPLICTION IN ORDER TO QULIFY FOR CONSIDERTION. 4. It is the sole responsibility of each and every Vendor to meet the City of Florence Fire Department regulations. 5. Vendor set-up begins at 7:00 am the day of the Festival with NO EXCEPTIONS. ll vendor vehicles must be moved from the street no later than 9:00 am and Vendors must be ready to sell by 9:45 am. 6. Vendors acknowledge they will not close until the stage in their area closes. 7. If you are requesting an electrical connection, an accurate list of all equipment to be used, including wattage and amp requirements, must be included with your application. Submission of an application and payment does not guarantee acceptance. 11. No refunds will be given due to any interruption in the Festival as a result of weather or any cause beyond the control of the Pecan Festival Committee. 12.
