1 Travel Insurance 77FIN100 Terms and Conditions in brief Insured Persons The Insured are the Holders of the Eurocard Gold/Diners Club cards defined hereunder, between 18 and 79 years of age, with their permanent domicile and home in Finland where they mostly reside, as well as Cardholders between 18 and 79 years of age, with permanent domicile in Finland but temporarily residing abroad for no longer than one year from the date in which they left Finland. Furthermore cover applies to: The cardholder s accompanying spouse/cohabitant and/or the cardholder s children and the children of his/her spouse or cohabitant. Cover applies in accordance with the terms specified below if the children are accompanying the cardholder on a trip; The cardholder s children and the children of his/her spouse or cohabitant are covered until the age of 18 provided they are travelling with the cardholder. Grandchildren of the card holder ale also covered during travel with the cardholder until the age of 18. The Insurance also covers the persons travelling with the Cardholder who have a Eurocard Gold/Diners Club card with the Insurance feature when the Cardholder has paid for this person s ticket or car rental expenses. Eurocard Gold /Diners Club cards Eurocard Gold (private card) Eurocard Corporate products (corporate card) contract made before Diners Club Classic (private/corporate/family card) Diners Club SAS EuroBonus (private/corporate/ family card) Policyholder The Insurance is taken out by SEB Kort Bank AB, Helsinki Branch (SEB) / Diners Club Finland, Diners Club Nordic AB s branch (Diners Club). Underwriter The Insurance is subscribed by the Insurance company Chubb European Group Limited, Finnish Branch (Chubb). Insurance validity The Insurance is in force for travels with a duration of maximum two months (60 days) in Finland and abroad, when the ticket for transportation or the car rental expenses have been fully paid using the Eurocard Gold/Diners Club card. Moreover, the insurance is in force on the condition that the Insured has a valid Eurocard Gold/Diners Club card before setting off for the trip. However, the following need not have been paid with the above cards: - A reasonable booking fee or similar down payment; - Payments for trips or excursions at the destination, with this term referring to a locality; - Payment for a group excursion of maximum 48 hours organised by the service provider in the destination country. The Insurance is in force during travels made with the Insured Cardholder s car, provided that the travels also include a leg of transportation with public means of transportation (such as ship, train)

2 and provided that all such transportation has been paid using the Eurocard Gold/Diners Club card. Part of the trip can be paid with eventual vouchers of the Eurocard Gold or Diners Club bonus programmes or similar. Correspondingly, the Insurance is in force on Diners Club/Club Rewards travels when the Cardholder uses the accumulated Club Rewards points as well as on SAS EuroBonus travels when the member uses the bonus points as long as the payments for the traveller have been paid using the Diners Club Classic/Diners Club SAS EuroBonus/Eurocard Gold card. The Insurance is valid for domestic and foreign travelling throughout the world, with the exception of travels to or from Cuba or in Cuba and the exception of countries listed under Clause 15 of the General Insurance Terms and Conditions. The Insurance is not in force in countries or areas covered by the travel recommendations and warnings issued by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. The validity of the Insurance in the countries and areas referred to above is subject to an advance agreement with Chubb. In Finland, the Insurance is in force for travels to a place at the direct distance of at least 50 kilometres of the home of the Insured, but not during the transit between these places. The Insurance is, however, in force at the holiday home used by the Insured, if the Insured Person s family owns less than half of the place and the distance between the holiday home and the permanent home of the Cardholder is at least 150 kilometres. If the Insured Cardholder has paid the trip prior to the entry into force of the present Insurance Policy, the Insurance will cover any loss events taking place after 1 January 2015 provided that the Insured Cardholder has, when paying for the trip, had a valid Diners Club Euro Travel Insurance Policy and he/she has followed its Terms and Conditions. In other circumstances the Insurance is in force provided that the trip has been bought and carried through during the period of validity of the Insurance and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Insurance. Insurance cover and major exclusions Travel-time illness A travel-time illness starts or its first symptoms emerge during the trip. Treatment expenses are indemnified with the exclusions listed below. Travel accident An indemnified travel accident is a sudden, external event causing bodily injury beyond the Insured Person s control, taking place during the trip. Treatment expenses are indemnified with the exclusions listed below. Cost of treatment of illness or injury The Insurance only covers foreign treatment expenses incurred for a travel accident or a travel-time illness taking place abroad. The treatment expenses incurred in Finland are not indemnified. There is no upper limit in terms of euro for the treatment expenses incurred for one travel-time illness or travel accident. Treatment expenses incurred abroad for travel-time illness are indemnified for a maximum of 90 days from the onset of the treatment. Treatment expenses are indemnified on the basis of an original invoice or receipt insofar as they are not indemnified under a particular law.

4 Subject to Chubb s advance approval, indemnity is paid for expenses incurred for the repatriation of the patient, and for an accompanying person where necessary. Dental injury The Insurance only covers dental treatment expenses incurred abroad. The dental treatment expenses incurred in Finland are not indemnified. The Insurance covers any necessary expenses arising from treatment or examination carried out or prescribed by a dentist, including reasonable local travel expenses. The treatment expenses incurred for an injury to a tooth or dentures caused by biting or for the indispensable treatment of sudden toothache are indemnified up to the sum of 85 euro. Permanent handicap caused by travel accident The permanent handicap caused by travel accident must be determined within three years of the accident. Death The indemnity for permanent handicap paid for a travel accident will be deducted from the one-off indemnity paid for the death of the Insured caused by the travel accident in question. No indemnity is paid if the Insured dies later than three years from the travel accident. No indemnity for the death of the Insured is paid when the essential cause thereof is an infectious disease constituting a public hazard, as defined in the Decree on Infectious Diseases, and contracted on the trip. Losses incurred for cancellation or interruption of travel The indemnity for cancelled trip is paid if the departure is prevented by a compelling reason affecting the Insured or the other persons specified in the Terms and Conditions, including their sudden illness, accident or death or material damage to the property of the Insured in Finland A further condition is that the reason for the cancellation has not emerged prior to the the entry into force of the Insurance cover or prior to the booking and payment of the trip. The indemnity for interruption of travel is paid on the condition that the trip was interrupted due to a compelling travel-time reason affecting the Insured, including sudden illness, accident or material damage to the property of the Insured in Finland. The indemnity for interruption covers the indispensable extra travelling and accommodation expenses incurred by the Insured as well as the reasonable travelling expenses approved by Chubb in advance for a new trip to the destination if that trip is necessary for employment-related reasons or continued studies. The indemnity for loss of travel days amounts to 43 per day, payable for the maximum of 45 days but not in excess of the price of the trip.

5 Indemnity for waiting times The indemnity is paid if the waiting time is in excess of four (4) hours. The primary liability is shouldered by the transportation company, and the Insured must always first address the claim to this company. Luggage The object of Insurance is luggage, which means property of the Insured taken along on or acquired during a trip. The Insurance covers losses caused by sudden unforeseen events, such as theft, robbery, traffic or other accident or damage caused during transportation. The Luggage Insurance does not cover losses or damage caused by the Insured misplacing or forgetting the goods or for the usual tear and wear of the objects. No indemnity is payable if the damage is done to sports gear during their use or if the damage is indemnified under a particular law, guarantee or other insurance. Travel Liability Insurance The Insurance covers any bodily injury or material damage that the Insured causes to a third party in the course of a trip, and for which the Insured is liable according to valid legislation. The loss or damage is not indemnified insofar as this is covered by another valid liability insurance of the Insured. If the loss event leads to litigation, the Insured must notify Chubb immediately. Chubb will take care of such litigation and meet the resulting legal expenses up to a maximum of 8,500 euro. Legal Expenses Insurance The Insurance will cover the maximum of 8,500 euro of expenses incurred for legal counselling and assistance arranged by the travel emergency company SOS International if the Insured has been a party to a traffic accident as a consequence of which he or she has been arrested. Missed Departure The insurance covers reasonable and necessary additional expenses for economy-class transportation and meals and overnight accommodation of up to EUR 1,000 per person and maximum EUR 4,000 per event. Cover applies if the insured unintentionally and unpredictably misses a public transport departure or a transport departure arranged by a tour operator according to his/her documented itinerary and he/she must catch up with his/her originally scheduled trip. Instructions for the use of the Travel Insurance The Claimant must provide Chubb with all the documents and information necessary for Chubb to determine its liability. The Claimant is responsible for providing the clarifying documents that he or she has the best access to, also taking into consideration Chubb s own possibilities for acquiring such information. Chubb is not obliged to pay the indemnity before receiving the information mentioned above.

6 The claim for travel-related losses or damages should be made, whenever possible, using the Chubb form which must be signed. When faced with a loss or damage, the Claimant must contact Chubb or, in case of emergency, the travel emergency service company SOS International. The Insured must pay minor expenses out of his or her own pocket, claiming indemnity after the trip against original documents. If Chubb asks the Insured to have a medical examination, Chubb will indemnify the respective expenses. The Insurance Policy is covered by Finnish law. The Insurance is provided by the insurance company Chubb European Group Limited.
