Bank Windhoek s Worldwide Travel Insurance enables you to enjoy your travel knowing that you are covered. The Worldwide Travel Insurance provides protection against most hazards and gives you peace of mind whether you are on holiday or on a business trip. How do I get access to Worldwide Travel Insurance? In order for you to qualify for the Basic free travel insurance cover you will need to purchase your public travel conveyance ticket/s making use of your Bank Windhoek Silver or Gold Visa card. We also offers you with the option to enhance your cover with Additional Travel Insurance benefits. Basic Free Travel Insurance Cover Your Basic free cover is what you receive just by being a BWK Silver or Gold Visa cardholder and includes cover for Overseas Emergency Medical assistance (24hrs) and Overseas Emergency Medical & Hospital Expenses should you experience illness or accident injury whilst you are travelling for a period of 90 days. The cover also includes permanent disability, accidental death cover and emergency medical and related expenses as a result of a Pre-existing medical condition.

4 Additional Travel Insurance Cover We also understand that travel needs of our clients vary greatly, which is why we also have a range of added extras, should you wish to enhance your Basic Free Cover, we offer you Additional Travel Insurance benefits which will provide you with greater financial protection and peace of mind. Additional Travel Insurance cover includes benefits for: Journey Cancellations, Missed Connections, Journey Extension, Replacement Airfare, Loss of Luggage and Personal items. The Additional Travel Insurance Cover is available over and above the Basic free cover and is charged at a nominal Insurance premium which is dependent on the duration of your trip. Each ticket holder will need to pay the premium as indicated below. 8 How do I apply for Worldwide Travel Insurance? To apply please contact your nearest Bank Windhoek Branch and provide the Sales Adviser with the following documentation: Proof of Payment of your travel ticket(s); Point-of-Sale device receipt; Copy of travel ticket(s); and Copy of passport(s). Your application will be processed and you will receive your Travel Insurance Policy via the address you have provided within 24 Hours. Once you receive your Travel Insurance Policy please ensure that you have saved your travel insurance policy number in several ways in which you will be able to access this information in the case of an emergency. Important information You have to purchase your full travel ticket (departure & return tickets) with your Bank Windhoek Silver or Gold Visa card. You and your immediate family members are eligible for travel insurance upon application; Immediate family (Spouse, parents, grandparents, grandchildren in-laws, natural or adopted children, brothers and sisters). The policy must be issued prior to date of departure. Maximum period of cover is 90 consecutive days. Maximum age limit 75 years.
