3 INVITATION OF PROPOSAL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR Registration of Subcontractors for Various Items The Company invites EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for Registration of Subcontractors for Various Items. Important details are given as below: 1. Brief details of material requirement is as per annexure-i. 2. General terms and conditions of EOI is as per annexure-ii 3. Form fee: Rs. 250 in form of DD/ cash receipt along with EOI. (No form fees for MSEs). 4. Due Date For Submission of the EoI: up to Hrs. Note: Any modification / corrigendum to this EoI will be published on company s website ( only. 4 1.0 BACKGROUND AND REQUIREMENT 1.1 About REIL: Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) is a Public Sector Enterprises. It was established in 1981 under the Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India; with the aim to undertake manufacturing and supply of professional grade electronic equipment for the dairy industry. Average turnover of the company during last three years is approx. 225 crores., and has been profit making since its inception. The product range and functions of the Company are driven with the motto of "Shaping Rural India through Electronics, Energy and Information Technology". The product range of the Company is divided into following segments. Electronics Renewable Energy Systems Information Technology Solutions 1.2 About this Expression of Interest: Subcontractor development is a regular activity in Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL). We are procuring various raw materials for our production requirements. We want to get develop new potential subcontractors to meet our increasing demand of raw materials. Preference will be given to MSEs owned by SC/ST/WOMEN. Detail of material requirements and our general terms & conditions of procurement are as per Annexure-I & Annexure-II. 4

5 2.0 REGISTRATION PROCESS 2.1 SUBMISSION OF E.O.I.: 1. Subcontractors are advised to read this document in detail and assess their capabilities before submission of Expression of Interest. Subcontractor may submit EoI for one or more item. 2. Interested Subcontractors may download the EoI document from the website of the Company The prospective subcontractor desirous of participating may view and download the document free of cost from the website of REIL. 3. Interested Subcontractors may submit their Expression of Interest (EoI) by providing all the necessary documents as specified in support industry form. 4. The Expression of Interest document should be submitted in a sealed cover and reach the following address on or before 23/04/2016 upto Hrs. Any submission beyond the stipulated time will rejected. REIL reserves the right to extend the time period for submission of proposals. 7 4.0 General Terms & Conditions of EOI. Annexure-II General terms of the contracts to be issued by REIL to registered vendors shall be as under:- S.No. Terms Detail Complied Deviation 1 Terms of Delivery F.O.R. Clause If the delivery of the items is not made by the stipulated date, the party shall have to pay liquidated 0.5% of the value of the items per week, subject to a maximum of 5% of the unit delivered price of each unit so delayed. 10 Non- Disclosure Undertaking Non-disclosure undertaking in respect of maintaining secrecy for technical specifications/drawings for customize items has to be signed by registered vendors before issue of such specifications/drawings to them for development. 11 Rejection Supplier has to supply material as per specification. In case It is found rejected than supplier will replace within 2 week of information or lift the material. After 4 week rejected material will be sent to scrap store. 7
