To open an account, you need to: Be at least 18 years of age Be an existing Maybank Malaysia customer Place a minimum deposit of S$500* ACCOUNT OPENING REQUIREMENTS To open a S$ isavvy Savings Account with Maybank Singapore, please visit any of the 40 Maybank Malaysia Branches listed at the end of this Application Form, bringing with you, your NRIC for verification purposes. The following documents are required to complete your application: 1. Original S$ isavvy Savings Account Application Form duly completed and signed 2. Photocopy of your NRIC (front and back) 3. Initial deposit in the form of a SGD Demand Draft made out in your name, and is obtainable from any of our 40 listed Maybank Malaysia Branches For opening of a joint account, both you and your joint applicant are required to be present at the Branch. Your joint applicant will also need to provide a photocopy of his/her NRIC (front and back). A single demand draft bearing both applicants names is acceptable. Important notes: Please allow up to 14 working days for account opening. Applications NOT accompanied with the required documents or with incomplete information will cause a delay in processing. Note: Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$50,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the CPF Investment Scheme and CPF Minimum Sum Scheme are aggregated and separately insured up to S$50,000 for each depositor per Scheme member. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured. 5 DECLARATION By submitting this application, (1) I/We confirm that I am/we are applying for the above-mentioned savings account ( Account ), the Maybank Platinum Debit Card ( Card ) and the services specified herein including internet and phone banking services ( Services ); (2) I/We confirm that I am/we are the sole Beneficial Owner(s) of the Account.
