4 (Read this Product Disclosure Sheet before you decide to take up the CIMB Bank / Direct Access credit card. Be sure to also read the general terms and conditions.) CIMB Bank / Direct Access Credit Cards Date: 1 September What is this product about? This is a CIMB Bank / Direct Access credit card with a line of credit granted by us to you. If any amount of the credit utilised by you is not settled in full on / or before the due date, the unsettled amount will be subject to finance charges. If you are at least 21 years old but are unable to prove your annual income, you will need to place a fixed deposit with CIMB Bank of an amount equal to the credit limit granted to you. The fixed deposit must be kept with us for as long as the credit card facility is available to you. 2. What do I get from this product? Credit limit: To be determined at the sole discretion of the Bank. Finance charges: As indicated below (i) Retail Transaction: (a) 1.25% per month or 15% per annum if you have promptly settled your minimum payment due for 12 consecutive months (b) 1.42% per month or 17% per annum if you have promptly settled your minimum payment due for at least 10 months in a 12 month cycle (c) 1.50% per month or 18% per annum if your payment record is not within either (a) or (b) above To enjoy lower finance charges for retail transactions, you should make at least 10 prompt payments in the last 12 months. (ii) Cash Advance: Finance charge for cash transaction is 1.5% per month or 18% per annum. The daily cash withdrawal limit is equivalent to the Cardholder s prescribed credit limit (for Direct Access Credit Card) and eighty percent (80%) of the Cardholder s prescribed credit limit (for CIMB Credit Card) subject however to (i) the applicable daily withdrawal limit of any ATM of the Bank or of any other bank or institution with whom the Bank has an arrangement(s) for the use of the ATM of the said bank or institution in the case of cash withdrawal through an ATM; and (ii) the cash withdrawal at any one time not causing the aggregate outstanding balance of the Cardholder s obligation to the Bank to exceed the Cardholder s prescribed credit limit. (iii) Balance Transfer: Plan Tenure Interest Rate Minimum Transfer (p.a.) After the expiry of the relevant Plan, the finance charges referred to in sub-paragraphs (i) (a), (b) and (c) above will be imposed on the outstanding balance. 3. What are my obligations? Minimum monthly repayment: 5% of the outstanding balance or a minimum of RM50.00, whichever is higher. Finance charges free period: (a) For new retail transactions - you enjoy 20 days finance charges free period from the statement date, only if you pay the balance in full and on time. However if you do not pay in full and on time, finance charges on such retail transactions will be calculated from the posting day of the transaction. (b) There is no finance charges free period on balance transfers or cash advances. As the principal cardholder, you are liable to all transactions incurred by the supplementary cardholders. 4. Notice On Paying Only Minimum Monthly Repayment The following table illustrates the amount of interest incurred and the repayment period, under different outstanding amount scenarios if you continue to pay only the minimum amount. The computations are based on 5% minimum payment or RM50, whichever is higher, at a finance charge of 18% provided there are no new transactions. This calculation is based on 30 days a month. This is imposed for each cash advance transaction RM10 for first replacement & RM50 for every subsequent replacement RM15 per copy RM5 per monthly statement The conversion rate as determined by MasterCard International, Visa International or JCB International plus an administrative cost of 1% plus any transaction fee charged by MasterCard / Visa / JCB International 6. What if I fail to fulfil my obligations? Late payment penalty charges: If you do not make the minimum payment by the due date, we will charge you 1% of the total outstanding balance as at the statement date or a minimum of RM10.00 whichever is higher, capped to a maximum of RM Right to set-off: We have the right to set-off any credit balance in your account maintained with us against any outstanding balance in this credit card account. Liability for unauthorised transactions: You will be liable for all unauthorised transactions used on the Card if you have acted fraudulently or failed to inform CIMB Bank as reasonably practicably after you have discovered that the Card is lost or stolen. However, your liability for unauthorised transactions as a consequence of the Card being lost or stolen is limited to RM for each Card provided you have not:- (i) acted fraudulently; or (ii) failed to inform CIMB Bank as reasonably practicably after you have discovered that the Card is lost or stolen Where a PIN is used in respect of any Card transaction, you are deemed to have used the Card and you cannot allege that such transaction was unauthorised as a consequence of the Card being lost or stolen. Suspension or termination of card: If you default in your repayment or breach any of the terms and conditions of use of the Card, we may suspend or terminate your Card and may decide not to reinstate the Card even after you regularize your account. If you use your Card for any unauthorised purpose or in an unauthorised manner (eg. for on-line gambling purposes, illegal activities, allowing another person to use the card, etc) we may terminate your Card. Use of card and Personal Identification Number (PIN): You are under a strict duty to keep your card and PIN safe at all times and to prevent the loss, theft or fraudulent use of the Card and to prevent the disclosure of your PIN. You must report any loss and/or theft of the Card or PIN disclosure to CIMB Bank and to the police immediately followed by written confirmation to CIMB Bank together with a copy of the police report within seven (7) days from the date of the loss and/or theft and/or disclosure of the PIN. You may be held liable for any unauthorised transactions should you fail to do so. Monthly statements: You must check your monthly statements thoroughly and immediately. Any discrepancy must be reported to the Bank immediately as failure to do so may cause you to lose your right to challenge the discrepancy.

If you pay only the minimum amount due, it will take you longer and cost you more to settle the outstanding balance. Think about your repayment capacity when charging the credit card. The finance charges imposed on the outstanding balance for this credit card is based on a tiered pricing structure in accordance to your repayment history. If you use your credit card to make repayment for other financing, it may cost you more. If you have problems paying for your credit card balances, contact us in advance to discuss repayment alternatives. You should notify us immediately after having found that your credit card is lost or stolen. 9. What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact details? It is important that you inform us of any change in your contact details to ensure that all correspondences reach you in a timely manner. 10. Where can I get assistance and redress? If you have difficulties in making repayments, you should contact us earliest possible to discuss repayment alternatives.
