7 Reforms/ Developments during July, Record rooms/ documents available in the office premises were reviewed, segregated and work is in progress to make them category wise for easy verification. 2. Mandatory instructions issued to keep the office premises neat and clean in compliance of guidelines of Swachh Bharat 3. Officials are instructed to concentrate on realisation of available assets, settlement of creditors/workmen within minimum time possible and to dissolve the companies at the earliest. Work relating to the said three fields are now in fast pace. 4. A Notice Board was placed at the entrance of the office displaying the details assets of the companies in liquidation, available for public auction/ sale to have awareness of the same to the visitors/ public, which is in addition to publishing the same in newspapers/ website. 5. Similarly the details of assets of the companies in liquidation for sale are forwarded to Debt Recovery Tribunals in Tamilnadu/ all the Official Liquidators, as a practical source of potential disposal of the said assets. 6. Obtained stationery items worth Rs.14 Lakhs approximately for office use, free of cost from Stationery Department, resulting in saving the Government revenue in the matter of purchase of stationery. 7. As a new drive, for the first time in the history of Office of the Official Liquidator, High Court, Madras, to disburse the funds available, this office suomotu, addressed/ contacted the secured creditors/ Government authorities/ other creditors, who moved claim in the matter of various companies in liquidation to submit requisite documentary evidence for quick payment of dividend.
