Overall Ratings Name Previous Rating Current Rating Public Disclosure Authorized Progress towards achievement of PDO Moderately Satisfactory Moderately Satisfactory Overall Implementation Progress (IP) Moderately Satisfactory Moderately Satisfactory Implementation Status and Key Decisions The highlights of the supervision missions held in Oct 2017 and March 2018 are as follows: SHF s governance and operational efficiency have continued improving; delivery capacity increased from 2,430 to 7,700 housing units per month in less than a year. However, the Bank encourages SHF to pursue its efforts in several areas (improving the demandsupply match, smoothing the advertising cycles, piloting streamlined application processes, etc.) The team reiterated the importance of private developers and investors participation for the success of the program, as the Loan Agreement stipulates that the SHF should grant 250,000 demand-side subsidies to households residing in units constructed by the private sector, by the end of the PforR by 2020; The model for the subsidy program has been recalibrated to reflect increases in construction costs and incomes. While the lowest income bracket remains EGP 1,500 per month for households, the maximum eligible household income has been increased to EGP 4,750 per month;.
