Their home is located just past the row of condos to the east and is identified by the bright blue gate (#1 of the 4 plex). Occupancy: Maximum occupancy is a total of 6 persons. Please be advised, additional people will be charged to your security deposit. Check IN time: Check OUT time: 1:00 p.m. 11:00 a.m. Exceptions to these times would be if a party is leaving the same day another comes in or you have made prior arrangements with the Havens. Please note the phone number included here for Rick and Judi and let them know if you plan to arrive late in the day. Provisions include: The condo has dishes, cups, silverware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, a percolator for coffee making and a blender. Also provided, is a gas grill and an outside plastic table with 4 chairs and floor fans for hot weather. There is a gas fireplace used for heating in cool weather. Since we are on solar power, items such as drip coffee pots, hair dryers and curling irons are NOT permitted, as they draw too much power from their heating elements. Bring your own paper products, such as toilet paper (there are 3 bathrooms), paper towels and garbage bags.
Water: The condo will be provided with a full tank (650 gallons) of water which is to be used for showers and dishes but should NOT be used for drinking. This tank of water should last 4 adults one week so if you run out, you ll need to flag down the water truck to refill your tank, which generally costs about $25. Drinking Water: A 5 gallon water bottle dispenser is provided. You might find it convenient to bring bottles of water for drinking & teeth brushing, etc. Solar Power: You should have all the power needed. Anything with a heating element, drip coffee pot, hair dryers, etc. draw extreme amounts of power from the system and are not allowed. Leaving lights on and excessive toilet flushing drains energy. It takes 3 or 4 days to build up the system s energy and if drained, your stay will not be enjoyable. Garbage: Please put all garbage in bags and place in the covered outside trash can provided in back of the condo. Trash is generally picked up Monday and Thursday evenings. Furniture: Please do not move furniture during your stay. Furniture, pillows or towels must NOT be taken outside as sun and salt air do incredible damage in a short time. Music/TV:

IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER OR IF YOU FIND YOU NEED FURTHER DIRECTIONS PLEASE KEEP THIS NUMBER WHERE YOU CAN UTILIZE IT AS NEEDED: Rick and Judi Havens From the U.S. 989 785 0882 Locally: 011 989 785 0882 It rarely rains in Rocky Point Mexico, however when it does our entrance road can become difficult to navigate due to the clay used under the sand as a road base. If you are in doubt about weather conditions or need help in locating us please feel free to call for help. After January 2008, any person over the age of 19 will be asked to present a driver s license along with their birth certificate at the border crossing returning to the U.S. By summer, 2008, presumably a passport will be required. It would be wise to contact the Mexican Embassy or State Department to check for current requirements before your visit. In addition, you can e mail Rick or Judi and we will fill you in as best we can for what is being required at the time. Rocky Point is changing! Even if you have been here before you may be surprised at how different the roads and visual land markers are. You may take the Caborca Highway exit before you reach town or use Fremont Ave. from town to reach Playa Dorada. As you head east on either of these two roads you will see signs for the Mayan Palace, which is slightly past Playa Dorada but will let you know you are headed in the right direction. At the signpost number 22 begin to slow and turn right about 100 feet past the sign between two block pillars labeled Miramar and Dorada. Follow the dirt road for what will seem like an endless trek across sand but in actuality is only a few miles until you take a sharp left. Immediately you will see small signs saying El Dorado Estates which is what developers are calling our area. Go up the hill to the right to the large billboard sign saying Playa Dorada. Go thru the guard gate, down the hill, turn right, stop at the light blue house with a bright blue gate for keys and the condos are just past that in a row of 10. You will be staying in #9.
