During the reporting period, under component 1 of the project, an additional twelve Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) were formed, and started implementing activities. Once their official registration is complete by December 30, 2017, the project total will be brought to twenty PTAs. The Good School Support Tool (GSST) process has been completed in six additional schools since May 2017; once the GSST reports under preparation in ten additional schools are submitted (expected by December 30, 2017), the project total will stand at 26 GSST processes completed since inception. Knowledge and learning outputs delivered include provision of policy recommendations to the Mongolian Institute of Educational Research on the basis of the project s implementation in 2016, publication of Social Accountability and Management Issues 12/8/2017 Page 1 of 5
