The tasks undertaken in this project include: i) Reviewing of various legislations governing the Agricultural Sector in Kenya. ii) Alignment of the proposed structure into the structure outlined in the new Constitution. iii) Consulting with the stakeholders to validate the reforms recommended as required in the new Constitution. c) Consultancy to review the legal and regulatory framework for Insurance Sector on behalf of the Insurance Regulatory Authority. d) Consultancy to undertake legal audit/ Statutory risk Assessment of KCAA. The tasks undertaken include: i) General contract review, special clauses in contracts with potential for legal risks. ii) Legal issues in the Pension scheme. iii) Insurance matters. iv) Employment matters. v) Regulatory background, licences and intellectual property. e) Consultancy on the Federal structure of the EAC.
