1 LABOR BULLETIN No April 11, 2018 TO: CONTRACTOR MEMBERS SIGNATORY THROUGH THE BUILDERS ASSOCIATION TO THE JOINT AGREEMENT WITH THE ST. LOUIS KANSAS CITY CARPENTERS REGIONAL COUNCIL KANSAS CITY (Contract Term: 8/1/2017 4/30/2023) The Carpenters Regional Council has advised the Builders Association that it wishes to distribute its May 1, 2018 economic increases as follows: Kansas City Area 1 Addendum increase of $1.37: $1.12 per hour to s; and $.25 per hour to the Health and Welfare Fund. In addition, Industry Advancement Fund will increase by $.01 per hour. Kansas City Area 2 Addendum increase of $1.31: $1.06 per hour to s; and $.25 per hour to the Health and Welfare Fund. In addition, Industry Advancement Fund will increase by $.01 per hour. Kansas City Area 3 Addendum increase of $1.26: $1.01 per hour to s; and $.25 per hour to the Health and Welfare Fund. In addition, Industry Advancement Fund will increase by $.01 per hour. Effective May 1, 2018 the KC AREA 1 (Jackson, Cass, Clay, Platte, Ray and the Montrose Power Plant in Henry County in Missouri, and Johnson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte and the La Cygne Power Plant in Linn County, Kansas) wage and fringe benefit contribution rates will be as follows: Commercial Carpenter $38.85 $1.55 Residential/Light Commercial Carpenter $30.05 $1.20 All Foremen will receive $1.50 per hour above the journeyperson rate. General Foremen will receive $2.00 per hour above the journeyperson rate. Fringe s Contributions will be as follows: Health and Welfare Fund, $7.25 per hour; Pension Fund, $9.25 per hour (1/3 rd of contribution is on a non-accrual of benefit basis); Apprenticeship and Training Fund, $.50 per hour; Industry Advancement Fund, $.21 per hour; and CITF, $.10 per hour. oyee Paid: The Supplemental (as noted above) per hour; Recovery, $.20 per hour; and Vacation Fund, $1.00 per hour shall be taxed and DEDUCTED in whole. 1
