1 NOTICE OF PROPERTY SALE Pursuant to W.S , the Governing Body of the City of Powell, Wyoming will accept sealed bids on the following listed municipality property. 4-42'x40' Aircraft Hangars, 1-60'x60' Aircraft Hangar Potential buyers should be aware of any building and zoning restrictions and are encouraged to investigate any size conditions and limitations. Buyers are also responsible to investigate any FAA requirements or limitations as it pertains to the Municipal Airport. Further information for bidders, including site map and bid forms may be picked up at the City Engineer's office at City Hall, in the terminal building at the airport or from the City of Powell website, The above sealed bid shall be submitted to the City Engineer's office at City Hall, 270 North Clark, Powell, WY no later than 2:00 p.m., October 2, 2012 at which time bids will be publicly opened. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or accept or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Powell. 2 INFORMATION TO BIDDERS Hangars 1-4 Hangar 5 Each 42'x40' steel constructed hangar with bifold door and paved access to apron 1. Minimum bid accepted will not be less than 60,000. In the event of a tie, a coin flip will take place to determine the high bidder. 2. The top four (4) bids will be accepted with the highest bid(s) given first selection. 3. Cashier's check or money order for 20% of bid price must accompany bid - balance of bid due within 30 days of bid acceptance date. The 20% bid price accompaniment will be forfeited if the sale is not completed within the 30 day time period. 4. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the City. 5. The successful bidder (Purchaser) will cover the cost of title insurance and all closing costs for this property. 6. Property is being sold as is. Purchaser should be aware of any building and zoning restrictions and investigate any site conditions and/or limitations. 7. Any taps or extension of services needed or desired would be at the expense of the purchaser and limited to availability of service. 8. All hangars MUST be used for aviation purposes and MAY NOT be used for residential purposes. One 60'x60' steel constructed hangar with bifold door and paved access to apron 1.
