4 Get more from your PayPal benefits in 2019 We re committed to providing quality health coverage to our employees. With that in mind, you ll see enhancements to our health plans to give you and your family the comprehensive coverage you need. UNITEDHEALTHCARE DELTA DENTAL PLAN CHANGES Next year, UnitedHealthcare (UHC) members will have more programs and resources to support better nutrition and your overall health. See a nutritional counselor without any doctor referral! If you enroll in the $300 Deductible plan, nutritional counseling is now easier to access, with a $35 copay per visit. Consumer Directed Health Plan (CDHP) members will pay 10% once the deductible is met. More coverage for diabetes care. In addition to covering prescriptions at 100%, insulin pumps will also be covered at 100% after you meet the plan s deductible. Delta Dental members can receive additional care through SmileWay if you have an ongoing health condition, such as diabetes, heart disease, HIV/AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis, or stroke. Receive up to 4 of the following procedures (any combination) covered at 100%: teeth cleaning, periodontal maintenance, and scaling (if you have gingival inflammation). Starting January 1, log in to deltadentalins.com and opt into SmileWay. VSP VISION PLAN ENHANCEMENTS PRESCRIPTION DRUG ENHANCEMENTS Fertility-treatment drugs will now be covered through Progyny instead of CVS/caremark for UHC members. If you are currently receiving fertility prescriptions through CVS, you ll hear from Progyny to discuss the transition and what this may mean for you. If you have questions, you can contact a Progyny Care Advocate at for assistance. Save 20% on thousands of CVS brand health-related items, like pain medicine, cough and cold remedies, vitamins, and more, with the CVS ExtraCare Health Card Program, available at retail stores. UHC members will receive their cards in the mail early next year, along with more information about the program. Both Core and Enhanced plans will fully cover standard progressive lenses. There s no copay for standard progressive lenses, including new digital lenses called Ethos. You ll continue to pay a copay for premium progressive lenses. The Enhanced Plan will have a few new improvements, such as: Blue-light-blocking/anti-reflective coating on glasses to protect your eyes from the harmful effects of blue light. You ll pay a $40 copay for this benefit. Non-prescription sunglasses through the SunCare benefit. You can use your frame allowance toward ready-to-wear, non-prescription sunglasses from a VSP doctor. KAISER PERMANENTE HMO (CALIFORNIA) Kaiser health plan members will receive 40 total chiropractic and acupuncture visits per year through the American Specialty Health (ASH) network with no referral needed. You ll pay a $15 copay for these services. However, if you see a Kaiser chiropractor or acupuncturist provider that is not part of the ASH network, you ll need a specialist referral from your primary care physician and will pay a $35 copay. Take time to review your options, and select what s right for you.

5 LIFE INSURANCE Annual Enrollment is the ideal time to think about what matters most and whether you have enough protection. View new rates and coverage options when you enroll. A few things to note for next year: Get help creating simple wills and preparing final arrangements from EstateGuidance at no cost to you! Regardless of age, you ll now be insured for the full amount of your optional life insurance policy. If you re age 65 or older, you ll no longer see a reduction in your coverage. Take this time to update your life insurance and AD&D beneficiaries on Your Benefits Resources (YBR).

6 Special accounts to help you pay for care Enrolled in the UHC Consumer Directed Health Plan (CDHP) with Health Savings Account (HSA)? Or thinking about enrolling? The CDHP offers lower paycheck costs in exchange for higher deductibles. The plan also comes with an HSA that PayPal gives you free money to use for current or future health care expenses. And next year, we re sweetening our contribution: $500 for employee-only coverage and $1,000 if you cover dependents. Plus, you can sock away even more next year: up to $3,500 for employee-only coverage and $7,000 if you cover dependents in Save an additional $1,000 if you are age 55 or older. Keep in mind, this includes both your and PayPal s contributions. REASONS TO CONSIDER THE CDHP WITH HSA If you enroll in the CDHP with HSA, you can use the money in your HSA to pay for health care expenses now or in the future. You can contribute to the HSA, and PayPal contributes, too! All contributions are tax-free, including those from PayPal. PayPal will contribute $500 for individual coverage and $1,000 if you cover dependents in You ll receive PayPal s full contribution in your HSA in the first payroll period of Once you enroll in the CDHP, you ll receive a welcome kit and debit card from HealthEquity, the HSA administrator. Take a closer look at the HSA You can use your HSA money to pay for qualified medical expenses, including prescriptions, deductibles, and copays or keep it for future expenses, even those you incur in retirement. Here s how you win with an HSA: Your contributions to the HSA are tax-free. Select a contribution amount when you enroll, and contributions are taken from your paycheck pre-tax. You can change your contributions at any time throughout the year. PayPal also contributes FREE money $500 for employee-only coverage and $1,000 if you cover dependents in The IRS maximum annual contribution (both yours and PayPal s) to your HSA is $3,500 for employee-only coverage and $7,000 if you cover dependents. You can contribute an additional $1,000 if you are age 55 or older. Your account balance rolls over from year to year to help you save for future medical and retiree health care expenses. Your HSA belongs to you always. You take it with you if you leave the company or retire. Once your account balance reaches $1,000 you can invest your money through HealthEquity, so your account can grow even faster. You earn tax-free interest on investment returns on your HSA balance. 7 Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) require action! An FSA is another tool to help you manage your health care and dependent care expenses. Your pre-tax contributions can be used to pay for eligible expenses such as doctors visits, prescription drugs, child care, and more tax-free. If you want to participate in an FSA, you must enroll or re-enroll for You can contribute up to $2,650 pre-tax to your Health Care FSA next year. Remember, you can carry over up to $500 in the Health Care FSA but not the Dependent Care FSA, so plan carefully when deciding how much to contribute. Non-exempt employees: PayPal contributes an additional 15% to your Dependent Care FSA, up to $652 each year. The IRS maximum contribution amount is $5,000, including both yours and PayPal s contribution. Keep in mind: If you have an HSA, your Health Care FSA becomes a limitedpurpose FSA that can only be used for eligible dental and vision expenses. 9 More ways to save for retirement Starting in January, you ll have another way to save for retirement: after-tax contributions to the PayPal 401(k) Savings Plan. After-tax contributions allow you to save above and beyond what you can save in pre-tax and Roth contributions. Take a look at how after-tax contributions compare to pre-tax and Roth contributions. Enroll November 5 16, For your security, you will be prompted to update your login information in YBR if it s been a while since you last accessed your YBR profile. Consider whether you need more life insurance or will use legal services in Annual Enrollment is your only chance to enroll in optional life insurance and the group legal plan. Enroll in the Health Care and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and elect your contribution amounts.
