Some would enact new laws, while others involve amendments to the state constitution. One of these proposals, for a new state law, would legalize the recreational use and possession of marijuana. Based on what you ve read, seen or heard about the proposal to date, would you vote yes or no on this proposal? Yes 48% No 42% Unsure 11%

Now I m going to read you some of the specific provisions of the proposal and for each, I d like you to tell me whether that provision makes you more likely or less likely to support the proposal. The proposal would allow adults age 21 and above to possess, use, and grow marijuana. 5 Q. Now let me tell you some of the arguments opponents of the proposal have given as reasons to vote no on this proposal. For each, tell me how convincing you think the argument is. This is an extremely complicated, sixty five hundred word proposal that virtually no one will have read and will have far reaching consequences for the state.
