1 Greenwood Township Monthly Meeting Minutes January 14, 2014 Persons Present Robin Hartoon, Supervisor Shelly Bigelow, Clerk Jolene Kukuk, Treasurer Maggie Veenstra, Trustee JoAnne Cerka, Trustee Public Present Jim Arlt,Ken Padgett, Thelma Paull, Rex Swinehart,Dale Mohler Robin called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was then honored. Roll call was taken, with all board members being present. The minutes were reviewed by all. Maggie made a motion to approve them as presented. Jolene seconded the motion. The motion was then carried. OLD BUSINESS -Robin spoke with Mary Jo at Baker about the cemetery sign. They have agreed to work on it at no cost to us.

2 -The board discussed Robin needing a budget report from Shelly in order to do the budget. We will need to have a budget meeting as normal to go over the budget. -Robin has not heard back about the watershed program yet. -Maggie will be waiting to meet with King & King about the Fire Board issues until the joint meeting. That meeting is set to take place on January 22 nd at 7:00pm.We do not know yet as to where. -Robin will get letters out to the four properties for the clean-up. NEW BUSINESS- -Shelly received a call from Corinna at Baird Cotter stating that Rex Swinehart had came in asking to have the township budget explained to him. -Shelly made a motion to adopt the FOIA Policy for public records and charge $.25 per page. Jolene seconded the motion. The motion was then carried. -Molly from Great Lakes Assessing contacted Shelly and felt that we should rescind our old poverty tax exemption application form and adopt a new more updated one. After board review, Shelly made a motion to rescind the old Resolution # and to adopt the new Resolution # Jolene seconded the motion. The motion was then carried. -The board discussed the thought of purchasing a piece of the Richard Little property adjacent to the cemetery.
