Presumably one of the most popular celebrities in America just months ago, Cosby is now viewed unfavorably by a plurality of Americans at 39%. His guilt, however, remains in question among voters a plurality (41%) are unsure of the validity of the allegations, suggesting that many Americans still need to see more evidence before thinking he s guilty. Those who do have an opinion are steadfastly in the guilty camp, 39/20. Among Cosby s few remaining supporters are Americans, of whom a majority 51% still hold a favorable opinion of the actor/comedian. Americans are unconvinced of Cosby s culpability, 41/20, a 40-point swing from national opinion.
