1 Changes Residential, Shared DISH System and Public/Private Effective June 13, 2014 May 14, 2014 There are several important changes going into effect June 13, These changes include an increase to the Protection Plan Monthly and dishnet, and significant modifications to the DISH Business structures and s. Because the plans, offers and programming for DISH Business customers will closely align with Residential options, the DISH Business s will align with Residential s as outlined in the tables on the following pages. Residential Changes Effective June 13, 2014 Protection Plan s Update Since we launched our Protection Plan program, you have told us how important it is for you to be able to service your customers. Most of you take advantage of the Protection Plan program and use it successfully for yourselves and your customers. We recognize your efforts to make this program a success and because of that, we are increasing the monthly Protection Plan from $2 to $2.50 per account. The increased incentive will apply to all eligible subscriber accounts with Protection Plan. The first monthly payment to reflect this increase will occur on or around August 15. Effective June 13, the Technician Visit fee for Protection Plan customers is decreasing to $10 (from $15). Because of this, the Technician Visit incentive for Retailers will also be decreasing to $10 (from $15). DISH Install s Updates The Primary Activation for DISH Install accounts subscribing to Smart Pack, DishLATINO Básico, or Residential Basic International Programming will be reduced by $75. dishnet Increase Effective May 15 - July 31 Effective May 15 through July 31, 2014, DISH will increase the Activation for the dishnet Better and Best Plans from $205 to $230. The Activation for the Good Plan remains at $180. Shared DISH System (SDS) Changes Effective June 13, 2014 All SDS (formerly MDU Residential) s will be remaining the same with the exception of the Primary Activation and monthly payments. The SDS Primary Activation s will increase to mirror the Residential Primary Activation s! Summit Advantage Consolidation Details Effective June 13, 2014 Beginning in Phase 45 (July 12, 2014, through October 10, 2014) Public/Private DBA24 Plus activations will be eligible for the Residential Customer Retention Program (CRP) and Residential Summit Advantage Program. With this consolidation, the DISH Business CRP and Summit Advantage Programs will no longer exist as separate programs from Residential. Your standing in these programs is based on your Customer Retention Index (CRI). CRI calculations will continue to not include Flex24 / FlexTV / FlexTV Business subscribers (Residential, Public/Private and SDS). This provides for consistent requirements and rewards for customer retention across all DISH sectors. Notwithstanding anything set forth in this Retailer News to the contrary, any and all references herein to equipment discounts and/or other s shall apply solely and exclusively to Retailers who purchase their hardware from Echosphere.
