3 City & Guilds Technical Qualifications table and submission deadlines for moderated assessments The following document contains details of all the theory s available for City & Guilds Technical qualifications in, including Level 2 Technical Awards, Level 2 Technical Certificates, Level 3 Advanced Technical Certificates and Level 3 Advanced Technical Diplomas. In addition it outlines the submission deadlines for moderated assessments in. 1. table The table is listed by industry area. These are d s available either as a paper- or on the City & Guilds online testing platform. Each is listed with its module number first, followed by its paper- module number. For ple: Some s are only offered on paper due to the nature of the content. Where this is the case their module number will be listed as N/A. For Land- qualifications only: s marked with an * are available both as paper- d s, and on demand on the City & Guilds online testing platform. Their module are listed separately. All s, whether d or on demand, must be invigilated according to the JCQ Instructions for conducting inations. Candis are allowed only two sittings of any particular (an initial sitting, and one re-sit opportunity). This applies whether the candi sits the as a d paper, d, or on demand. Candis can take their second sitting on a medium that is different from their first sitting, for ple a candi can sit their first sitting as a d paper test in March, and take their second or re-sit sitting as an on demand test. In exceptional circumstances where the size of the cohort means that it is not possible for all candis to sit the at the same, centres may split the cohort with some of the cohort sitting the later than the published, on the same day. Submission deadline for moderated assessments All candi marks and evidence required for external moderation of the synoptic practical assignments must be submitted to City & Guilds for moderation by the 17 May. All samples of grades and evidence required for the external quality assurance of any optional units, or other centre assessed components, will need to be submitted to City & Guilds by the 14 June. All evidence for the Employer Involvement components of the post 16 (Key Stage 5) Technical qualifications will need to be submitted to City & Guilds by the 14 June. All evidence for the Higher and Extended Project qualifications will need to be submitted to City & Guilds by the 14 June. Please refer to the Marking and Moderation Guide, and the Moderation Portal Centre Guide, available on the City & Guilds website, for further information about the marking, moderation and submission of evidence for the moderated assessments that form part of City & Guilds Technical qualifications. Please note where candi marks/grades and/or evidence are not submitted by the listed deadlines, City & Guilds cannot guarantee that candi grades will be released by the advertised results. 4
