4 Summary Purpose Pursuant to Section (4)(a), Florida Statutes, the Department of Financial Services will review county expenditure reports for determining if counties have increased their annual courtrelated expenditures by 1.5 percent based on what was reported the prior year. This review and analysis, as required by law, compares courtrelated expenditures from Fiscal Year (FY 1415) to Fiscal Year (FY 1516). The expenditures analyzed include: Facility Lease/Rent Expenditures, Maintenance Expenditures, Utility Expenditures, Security Expenditures, Communications Systems and Services Expenditures, Existing Radio System Expenditures, Existing MultiAgency Criminal Justice Information Systems Cost, and selected Local Requirement Programs Expenditures. Analysis Expenditure data recorded in the Statement of County Funded CourtRelated Functions Report was submitted by all 67 counties for FY 1415 and FY Increasing the amount reported for FY 1415 for the above expenditures by 1.5 percent determines the minimum amount to be reported for FY 1516 expenditures. For FY 1415 and FY 1516, the counties reported expenditure totals of $653,343, and $615,897, respectively. The difference between the calculated FY 1516 minimum and actual amounts identify the expenditures requiring explanation, if requested. 1
