4 Making Contact Toby Colls Toby Colls is Director of the North American Open market team having joined THB in 2011 from Guy Carpenter where he headed up it s Facultative department. His experience spans most classes of property business but with special emphasis on heavy catastrophe and high risk occupancies. He is the contact for on shore energy and also for stock only placements into the marine / cargo markets and has long standing relationships with the Bermudan markets. He has been with THB on the open market property team for the past 8 years. He places both direct and reinsurance placements into London, Europe, Asia and Bermuda, specialising in catastrophe exposed municipality business, wind pool, large hotel/casinos and habitational accounts. He joined the North American department at THB in August, 2013 from BMS Group where he handled various North American and Caribbean domiciled accounts spanning diverse industry sectors.
