WHOLESALE BROKING Our London Market Specialty Division offers specialist insurance and risk management services for a wide variety of different industries on a wholesale basis. Our areas of specialty include Energy, Construction, Property & Casualty, Financial & Professional Risks, Marine, Aviation, Fine Art, Terrorism and Political Risks. As a Specialty Broking graduate, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of fascinating clients, as well as some of the best talent that the insurance industry has to offer. You will be placed in one business unit for the duration of the programme and will also have the opportunity to get to know other areas of the business through short placements and secondments. RETAIL BROKING Our Retail Brokers work directly with a wide range of clients, from sole traders, start-ups, small and medium sized businesses, right the way up to large corporates and multi-nationals. We build comprehensive and bespoke insurance packages based on specialist knowledge and a deep understanding of our clients needs. As a Retail Broking graduate, you will gain exposure to all elements of Retail Broking through various placements in Sales, Broking, Risk Management and the Support Functions. You will be based in one of our Retail Offices across the UK and your role will involve regular travel. UNDERWRITING We underwrite on behalf of respected A-rated insurance companies and Lloyd s underwriters. Insurers work with us because of our expertise in both underwriting and distribution across niche product classes. As an underwriting graduate, you will learn to underwrite and service existing accounts and evaluate new business using prudent and established underwriting practices. You will quickly develop relationships with client insurers, customer cover holders and brokers to enable you to contribute to the income and profit objective of your team.
