2 Five Ways To Incorporate DAN Trip Insurance Into Your Travel Business Model Incorporating DAN Trip Insurance into your business is easier than you may think. There are no complicated agency forms to fill out, no long-term commitments, no licensing requirements on your part, and no upfront costs or on-going fees to participate. By offering DAN Trip Insurance to your customers, you are providing an extra service that they may look elsewhere for, or may not be aware of. Best of all, we ve done all of the work to make this program available you can start referring your customers right away with little delay. Similarly, you do not have to worry about servicing each policy you sell; we handle everything from the point-of-sale through the after-sales service. Are you ready to get started? 3 DAN Trip Insurance Incentive Program Frequently Asked Questions How much does DAN Trip Insurance cost? DAN Trip Insurance is based on the cost of someone s trip. Overall, the DAN Trip Insurance premium averages less than $63.00 per $1,000 of coverage. Unlike some other trip insurance plans, the DAN Trip Insurance plan is not age banded; in other words, everyone pays the same rate regardless of age. Don't I have similar coverage already as a DAN Member? All DAN Individual and Family Members have the benefit of TravelAssist, arranged emergency medical evacuation for any medical emergency. TravelAssist is not insurance, and it does not provide trip cancellation & interruption insurance protection, lost or delayed baggage coverage and other trip insurance benefits. How often does DAN pay incentives to referral partners? Incentives will be calculated and paid on a monthly basis. Incentive checks are made payable to the business. We know our customers have purchased DAN Trip Insurance policies in the past, but we haven t received an incentive check? Please make sure that your customers are using your custom referral link. No other means of identifying a participating business is acceptable, and DAN will retain all premium incentives for any trip insurance policies obtained without the use of an active referral website link. If you think your link may be defective, try clicking on it to see whether your referral number appears in the application. If you re still not sure whether your link is setup correctly, call DAN. We d be happy to verify that it is working correctly. When does the coverage begin? The coverage for trip cancellation begins at 12:01 am the day after the premium is submitted. How does someone file a claim? To file a claim, they can call Travel Guard between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central time and start their claim online. One of our claims analysts will go through and fill out the claim form for them and explain what needs to be provided in order to pay the claim. The form will then be faxed or mailed to them to provide that information. Can someone cancel a trip for any reason? Only certain unforeseen circumstances would be covered. A list of these circumstances is included in the Description of Coverage. What does the policy cover for cancellation? The policy covers if someone has an unforeseen sickness, injury or death of themselves, an immediate family member or a traveling companion, subject to limitations and exclusions. The policy also covers for inclement weather, unforeseen labor strikes affecting public transportation, and unforeseen traffic accidents, subject to limitations and exclusions. Are there co-payments or deductibles with your plan? There are no deductibles or copayments required. What if I want a refund of the premium? DAN is committed to providing products and services that exceed your expectations. If you are not completely satisfied, you can receive a refund. Requests must be submitted to DAN in writing within three days of the purchase of your coverage, providing it is not past your original departure date.

4 DAN Trip Insurance Incentive Program Participant Guidelines In order to participate in the DAN Trip Insurance Incentive Program, referring businesses must agree to the following guidelines: 1) Participants are authorized to use and maintain the custom referral link provided by DAN to direct visitors from the participant s website, e-newsletters, and/or communications to the website designated by DAN. Participant may not distribute, license or otherwise use DAN s links (and/or content) except as expressly authorized. 2) Participation in the program is subject to DAN s approval. A prospective participant s website must be fully operational before they may join the program. 3) Participants agree that a cash incentive will only be paid on DAN Trip Insurance policies purchased through use of an active custom referral website link. No other means of identifying a participating business is acceptable. DAN will retain all premium incentives for any trip insurance policies obtained without the use of an active referral website link. 4) Incentives will be calculated and paid on a monthly basis. Incentive checks are made payable to the business. To be eligible to receive an incentive payment, participating businesses must provide DAN with their Federal Tax Identification Number, if applicable. 5) DAN reserves the right to modify or change the program at its discretion. Likewise, DAN may modify links and/or graphics at any time, and participant agrees to update them within a reasonable period of time. 6) Participants agree that the custom referral link provided by DAN is the property of Divers Alert Network, and may be changed or terminated at DAN s discretion. Participant may not purchase or bid for placement of any of DAN s trademarked company or website names, or any variations or deliberate misspellings thereof, within any search engine. 7) Participants agree to use only the most current version of the Description of Coverage document (Terms & Conditions) found on the DAN Trip Insurance website. 8) Claims must be filed with AIG Travel Guard as outlined in the Description of Coverage. Participating businesses agree not to provide customers with answers to claims-related questions, referring them instead to the claims department contact listed on the ed Confirmation Notice and Conditions of Coverage documents. 9) Participating businesses will report any technical problems with the custom referral link or DAN Trip Insurance website to DAN as soon as possible by the most appropriate means of communication. DAN makes no express or implied warranties or representations with respect to the program or any policies sold through the referral link. 10) DAN and referral participant are independent contractors. Participation in this program does not constitute an employment, broker, franchise, or agency relationship between DAN and the referral participant, nor does it create any partnership, joint venture, franchise, or sales representative relationship between the parties.
