1 Dear Exhibitor, Thank you for your participation in the NATIONAL WINE AND FOOD FESTIVAL. This Exhibitor Show Manual contains vital show information, order forms you will need for show services and guidelines designed to increase the value of your consumer show experience. CRITICAL INFORMATION Location: National Harbor 137 National Plaza Oxon Hill, MD Show Contacts: Office Sarah effective starting 4/27 Sara effective starting 4/27 Kat effective starting 4/27 Show Hours: Saturday/Sunday April 28 th and 29 th 12PM 6PM Daily Move-In Dates & Times: Friday, April 27 th - 10AM - 4PM Saturday, April 28 th - 9AM 10:30AM Move Out Date & Times: Sunday, April 29 th 6:01PM 11PM Important Notes All vendors serving and sampling food must obtain a permit from the PG County Health Department. These permits are due no later than APRIL 13 th. PG County has set up a new system in which you can file for your TFP online. Mary from our office will be in touch with all vendors who need to file and will send further information along. Each distillery/brewery booth is provided with a tent, 6ft or 8ft table, black linen, staffer to pour, rinse pitcher, spill bucket, signage and sign holder. For Vendors who have opted to bring their own tents, please make sure you have your NFPA701 Fire certification on site with you in case the Fire Marshall has any questions. We HIGHLY URGE YOU TO MOVE IN ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON! There are a lot of vendors at this event, and moving in Friday will ensure less chaos Saturday morning, and ensure that we can get the doors open for our guests on time or early. Please plan accordingly.

2 R u l e s & R e g u l a t i o n s EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION Badges will be issued at Exhibitor Registration at the entrance Each exhibitor will be allotted badges for their booth staff. Each vendor will receive two (2) complimentary glasses. Additional glasses can be purchased for a discounted fee of $20. These are only for the GA area of the festival. Please remember ALL of your employees will be carded at the event. If they are not of age, they will not be drinking alcohol. MOVE IN You will be able to drive up to your booth located in Parking Lot G until 10:30 am on Saturday and Sunday, so please arrive early if you need to drive inventory to your booth. BOOTH PAYMENTS All booth fees must be paid in full by the deadline date or set up will be suspended. PARKING There will be a limited amount of free vendor parking in the Plateau lot next to the Gaylord Hotel. Parking passes will be limited to one per booth per day and they are first come first serve. You will need new passes each day. These passes will only work once on your way out, so plan accordingly. These passes are only available on Saturday and Sunday. There is no free parking for vendors during set up on Friday. VENDOR BOOTH RULES NO exhibit or advertising will be permitted to extend beyond space allocated to exhibitors. Any demonstrations, activities or displays that result in the obstruction of aisles or prevents ready access to neighboring booths may be suspended or removed by Management. Under no circumstances will the Management permit the removal of any portion of an exhibit during the show hours. SECURITY The show will have onsite and overnight security. If any issues arise which require immediate assistance, please notify the closest supervisor in your area. If you cannot find a representative close by, visit the show registration desk and office located at the only entrance of the event and a staff member will be there to assist you. SALES TAX There is sales tax on retail items being sold at this event is 6%. As a company selling items in the State of Maryland you should be charging sales tax and then forwarding the money to the State of Maryland. ICE Ice will be available onsite to purchase. Show Management accepts CASH ONLY for ice. LIABILITY Trigger Agency will NOT be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to the exhibitor or to the exhibitor s employees or property from any cause whatsoever. The exhibitor assumes full responsibility and liability resulting directly or indirectly, or jointly, from other causes that arise because of the actions or omissions of

3 its agents, employees or independent contractors, whether acting with or without the scope of their authority. NOTE: All exhibitors are responsible for their physical wellbeing. Please be careful during set-up, tear-down and during the event. Be aware of your surroundings. We suggest that each vendor be covered under a General Liability Insurance plan for each event, or an overall one for the year. If you do not already have a plan you may purchase one for the day here: Beo$ If you intend to purchase the insurance using the link above, please contact Trigger Agency in advance so that we can provide the event number you will need in order to get the special rate for the single day coverage. For each event, please have the Trigger Agency listed as additionally insured. AMENDMENT TO RULES Any matter not specifically covered by the preceding rules shall be subject solely to the discretion of Trigger Agency. 1. No holes may be drilled, cored or punched in any show property, including the asphalt. 2. No adhesive backed (stick on) decals or similar items may be distributed or used on show facilities. 3. All freight and exhibit materials must enter the building through the designated entrances. 4. National Harbor will not accept deliveries of freight, packages, cartons or mail for any exhibitor. 5. All fire, safety and building regulations must be strictly followed. Particular attention should be paid to the prohibition against propane, acetylene and other flammable materials. 6. Exhibitors are responsible for the removal of all materials at the conclusion of the show. 7. Exhibitor shall obtain all permits and licenses, shall comply with all of the requirements and shall pay all taxes, fees and charges prescribed by federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. 8. Exhibitors are strictly prohibited from serving alcohol or alcoholic paraphernalia to minors. All such sales will be grounds for dismissal from the event and immediate closure of exhibitor s booth. Attendees must be 21 years old to drink alcohol.

Order forms received after the deadline cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to increased fees. No refunds or credits will be given for unused electrical service. The under ordering of electricity will result in the loss of service/ onsite fees. Please make sure all order forms are sent to Joshua Smith directly. An order confirmation will be sent to any vendor ordering booth accessories or electric. Please note that if you do not have a confirmation receipt from Joshua your order has not been fulfilled and your accessories are not guaranteed and will become susceptible to one site costs. **ALL CONNECTED EQUIPTMENT MUST MEET CURRENT UL STANDARDS ** ALL ELECTRICAL ORDERS ARE FOR DAYs OF EVENT ONLY. 6 MAPS & DIRECTIONS TO NATIONAL HARBOR From Ronald Reagan National Airport: Follow signs to George Washington Parkway South (to Alexandria). Take GW Pkwy South toward Alexandria. Veer Right at the sign to Slaters Lane. Take a Right at the traffic light onto Slaters Lane. Follow signs to US Route 1 South and merge onto US Route 1 South (N. Henry Street). Proceed on Henry Street through Old Town Alexandria. Follows signs to I-95 N (Maryland). Veer Right at signs toward I-95. Veer Left toward I-95 (Baltimore/Maryland signs) and merge onto I- 95 N /I-495 E (Capital Beltway Outer Loop). Cross Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 2A. From Washington Dulles International Airport: Follow Airport Exit signs. Take VA-267 East toward and follow signs to I-495 South toward Richmond. Take I-495 S (Capital Beltway Outer Loop) toward Richmond. Continue on Capital Beltway, but merge with I-495 E/ I-95 N toward Baltimore. Cross the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 2A From Washington, DC: Take I-295 South for approximately 5 ½ miles. Take Exit 1B. From Maryland: Merge onto I-495 S / I-95 S (Capital Beltway Inner Loop) toward Richmond. Take Exit 2A to National Harbor. From Virginia: Merge onto I-495 E/ I-95 N (Capital Beltway Outer Loop) toward Baltimore Cross the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 2A to National Harbor.
