7 ADAdvocate Accommodation Support Services What? Administrative assistance in managing the ADA process. Why? Expert help identifying and documenting all types of worksite accommodations needed to help disabled employees stay on the job or return to work after a disability-related absence. Short Term Disability (STD) What? A source of income for employees who cannot work temporarily due to a disability. Why? With a focus on return to work, claim managers make quick and accurate decisions that allow employees to focus on recovery instead of paperwork. State Mandated Disability Plans What? Plan administration in all 5 jurisdictions that permit private statutory disability plans: New York (DBL, NY PFL), New Jersey (TDB), Puerto Rico (DBA), Hawaii (TDI), and California (VDI including PFL).
