5 MAPEX 2014 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION 1. Under this TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION, the term Exhibitor shall include all employees, partnership, firm or individual to whom space has been allocated for the purpose of exhibiting. The term Organizer shall mean Real Estate & Housing Developers Association Malaysia and Henry Butcher Malaysia (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. The term Exhibition shall mean MAPEX. 2. This application form should be completed and submit to the Organizer at address of 142-M, Jalan Burma, Penang, Malaysia. Successful applicants will be notified and booth allocation will be assigned at the absolute discretion of the Organizer. 3. Booking is on a first come first serve basis and full payment must be made within three (3) days from booking date. Payments can be made by way of check/draft to REHDA Penang. 4. The Organizer reserves the right to change the date, venue, floor plan, booth location and duration of the Exhibition under any circumstances. The exhibitor shall not claim for compensation as a result of these changes. 5. The Exhibitor shall provide the Organizer with the information of their exhibits prior to their exhibits being set up. Actual images/ artist impression of the booth design must be submitted to the Organizer one (1) month prior to the exhibition day. 6. The Exhibitor shall be responsible for keeping their premise clean and tidy throughout the exhibition period. 7. The installation and dismantling of the exhibits and booths must be completed by the date and time set by the Organizer. Any loss caused by delay or damage to the exhibition hall will be charged to the Exhibitor accordingly. 8. Each Exhibitor for booth M1 M6, M13, Salon I and Salon II shall pay a security deposit of RM5,000 while the rest of the booth Exhibitor need to pay a security deposit of RM3,000 each. The Exhibitor must reinstate their booth(s) to its original state at the end of the exhibition, failing which the Organizer shall remove and dispose the display items and reinstate the place of display to its satisfaction and all cost incurred thereby shall be borne by the Exhibitor which shall be deducted from the security deposit. 9. The Exhibitor shall be responsible for the insurance and security of all merchandise within the leased booth. The Organizer shall not be held responsible to the Exhibitor for any loss, theft, or damage of the Exhibitor s property, of for injuries to persons resulting from any cause. 10. The Exhibitor is requested to display clearly their Advertisement and Sale Permits (AP) and Developer s License (DL) including all relevant documents as required by law during exhibition. All information printed on the developers brochures must contain valid APDL, etc. 11. The Exhibitor is fully and individually responsible to ensure that they have attained all requisite licenses and approvals under all laws, regulations and bylaw and the Organizer shall not be liable for such breach there from. 12. In the event of the Exhibitor s breach of any of the above terms and conditions or any other terms and conditions which have been communicated verbally or otherwise, the Organizer shall have the right to terminate the Exhibitor s participation forthwith within 24 hours notice and in such case the security deposit shall be forfeited. No compensation or refund as such is claimable from the Organizer. Page 5 of 6
