2 Automechanika Kiev 2014 The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) in association with UKTI, is proud to present the first UK pavilion group at Automechanika Kiev 2014, the largest automobile aftermarket show in Ukraine. Automechanika Kiev is scheduled for May 2014 and will take place in KyivExpoPlaza, Ukraine, the largest exhibition and congress Ukraine. Automechanika Kiev is the first and only B2B event covering the entire automotive industry in Ukraine. Why Exhibit at Automechanika Kiev? Automechanika Kiev is the first B2B event in Ukraine covering the entire automotive industry. The exhibition will be an aftermarket exhibition fully supported by The Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers with a strong focus on parts and components. Wide range of products a full spectrum for the automotive industry, which will attract many regional buyers. The involvement of industry professionals will attract a high quality of trade visitors. A special visitor promotion support programme is available to encourage companies to highlight their presence at AM Kiev and to invite their clients to the exhibition. Extensive fringe programme during the exhibition. Independent Expo Ukraine has significant experience in attracting high quality visitors. The exhibition is being organised in the largest exhibition centre in Ukraine offering excellent facilities according to international standards.

3 Why exhibit as part of SMMT s UK Pavilion Group? As a consequence of representations made to UKTI by SMMT, for suitable applicants TAP grant support of 2500, subject to terms and conditions, may be available for a maximum of ten participating companies on a first applied basis. A possible 2500 Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) grant through SMMT from UKTI Individually tailored SMMT project management to meet your needs for specialised space stand design and build. An opportunity to be part of a significant UK group for PR and networking. A dedicated show manager to organise and support your business needs from additional equipment requirements to accommodation, freight and travel guidance. A UK-based contact to handle with all questions regarding exhibiting at the show Interpreter UKTI advisor available for free consultations and exporting advice on Ukrainian market and sector. The final design and layout of the UK pavilion is still being considered and negotiated and is dependent on numbers attending and space required. SMMT reserves the right to change the display appropriately to accommodate the needs and wishes of the majority of exhibitors participating and available budget. SMMT offers a simple package detailed as below (excluding travel and accommodation). We anticipate the majority of exhibitors will select a 3m x 4m area but we will endeavor to accommodate as far as practicable all requirements by modifying the layout design or taking additional space as required. Early commitment and sign-up is required with a decision deadline of 20th February 2014 How do I sign up? To sign up to the UK Pavilion Group at Automechanika Kiev 2014, all you need to do is complete and return the SMMT event application form (enclosed) along with a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions and a cheque made payable to SMMT Ltd for the full amount payable. Any approved UKTI grants will be paid after the event. Full payment

4 must be completed before 20/2/14. Deadline The registration deadline closes 20 February Applications received after February 2014 may not be eligible. SMMT s UK pavilion package includes: 12m 2 stand area exhibition quality carpet 2.5m high system walling suitable for hanging lightweight displays - please advise SMMT if you wish to hang heavy exhibits or monitors Open ceiling grid with 3 contemporary 50w low voltage spot lights per 12 sq m Fascia beam to each frontage carrying company name panel with standard bold lettering (Max 15 characters) No other material will be permitted on the fascia. UKTI TAP grants Early applicants may qualify, where eligible, for a limited number of UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) grants. It is advisable to secure your booking with a 50% deposit now to avoid disappointment and be eligible to apply for TAP grant aid. In the event that a TAP grant is not awarded by UKTI the exhibitor may cancel if they wish without cost and any deposits paid will then be refunded by SMMT in full..

Exhibitors wishing then to exhibit independently will still be accommodated with suitable space at the exhibition by Automechanika Kiev on an individual company basis charged at the organiser s normal enhanced shell scheme rates. 8 1) We appoint SMMT to act as our agent in connection with the above exhibition in order to exhibit as part of the British Group in accordance with and as described in the Event Specification. 2) We agree to comply with the general code of conduct and other requirements as described in UKTI Exhibitors Terms & Conditions. 3) We agree to comply with the Terms & Conditions of The Event Organiser as relating to Exhibitors (details available from Organiser website). Typically as 3 rd numbered condition on back page of our brochure. 4) We understand and accept that UKTI financial support is available only for eligible companies as described in UKTI Exhibitors Terms and Conditions and if endorsed by our local International Trade Adviser. 5) If the exhibition or part thereof is cancelled by Automechanika Kiev management fee will be returnable less 25 administration fee. SMMT will not be liable to recover or refund any fees for stand space or in respect of any other loss or expense incurred by us, directly or indirectly, in consequence of any withdrawal of support, cancellation, postponement or shortening of the exhibition other than to the extent that they have been recovered by SMMT from the exhibition organisers or other third parties. 6) We understand that if we decide after submitting our Application Form to withdraw as an exhibitor at the exhibition we remain liable to pay the full cost of Participant Option charge and SMMT Management Fee. Any payment made in respect of stand space cancelled by the exhibitor will be refunded by SMMT only if a suitable alternative replacement exhibitor can be found and to the extent that any loss incurred by SMMT arising from our withdrawal has been otherwise mitigated. The Management Fee is retained in the event of a cancellation and is non-refundable in any circumstance. 7) In the event that by the 20 th February 2014 fewer than 6 companies apply to join the SMMT UK Pavilion Group SMMT reserves the right to cancel the UK Pavilion as being economically unviable and in those circumstances SMMT will offer disappointed exhibitors a full refund of all fees paid to SMMT by all the cancellation date. No consequential or additional costs incurred by disappointed exhibitors will be paid by SMMT. Where possible disappointed exhibitors still wishing to exhibit will be accommodated by Automechanika Kiev at the show on an individual independent company basis at their normal basic shell scheme rates and terms. Enhanced shell scheme services will be available but at additional cost to basic rates please refer to Automechanika Kiev website for full details of standard package rates. 8) We agree to indemnify SMMT to the extent of their legal liability for all losses claims or proceedings of any nature whatsoever including financial loss, personal injury or death which we, our staff, agents and / or subcontractors may incur or cause during the exhibition.
