4 Purpose GOMA Resilience Team will deliver and facilitate the completion of a Resilience Index to coastal communities throughout 5 U.S. Gulf states via welltrained extension agents and partners.
5 Coastal Resilience Index An indicator of a community s ability to reach and maintain an acceptable level of functioning and structure after a disaster
6 Results After completing the CRI, a score of LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH will be identified in each category Not intended to compare BETWEEN communities A Self-Assessment
7 Index Details Uses information that is readily available 8 pages; 6 sections Asks mainly yes or no questions 1-3 hours

20 Past Recipients-Franklin County, FL Franklin County Planning for Disaster Resistant Businesses 20 The Apalachee Regional Planning Council (ARPC), in coordination with the ANERR, Franklin County and City of Carrabelle identified 25 key businesses deemed necessary for the economic recovery of the Franklin County coastal communities after a disaster. The ARPC staff developed disaster response plans for each identified business. These plans include sections on hazards, response and recovery.
