2 Fourty Years and Counting There aren t many people who can say they have worked for the same company for 40 years, but Deb Hooks, FSCU Loan Officer, celebrated that milestone December 1st. Before working at Family Savings Credit Union, Deb worked for Holy Name of Jesus Hospital as a desk clerk. A friend from church, Harold Daniel, was the manager of FSCU at the time and asked Deb if she would be interested in working at FSCU as a teller. At 19 years old Deb started at the Credit Union as a teller, which she held for ten years. Since then, she has held four other positions, enjoying each one as they brought on new challenges. Deb has seen a lot of changes at the Credit Union. When she first started, everything Deb started her career at Family Savings on December 1, 1977 as a teller. was hand written, including receipts and withdrawal slips. Deb says Fridays were her favorite day to work, I remember Fridays being so much fun and so hectic. There wasn t direct deposit, so Goodyear employees had to come in to cash their checks. The lobby would be full of members laughing and cutting up with each other. I loved it. Deb s favorite part of her job is talking to members and finding ways to help them with their specific need. Deb and her husband Barry have been married for five years. Deb has one son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Megan Hood, and one daughter and son-in-law, Cartie and Kevin Mitchell. Deb s most exciting job begins March 2018, when her first grandchild is born. Family Savings presented Deb with a $1,000 check, flowers and framed certificate. She will receive a 40-year plaque at the Annual Meeting. Explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information; and The dollar amount of the suspected error.
