3 LYONDELLBASELL AUSTRALIA OVERVIEW LyondellBasell Australia Pty Ltd, a company of LyondellBasell Industries, is headquartered in Melbourne and is the sole manufacturer of polypropylene in Australia. We are part of LyondellBasell s Olefins and Polyolefins business segment, which produces, markets and sells industry-leading specialty polyolefins, polypropylene and polyethylene resins. Through our research and development efforts, we strive to develop resins with enhanced properties and performance characteristics to replace other polymers and traditional materials. Our Geelong site was built in 1979 and is located 70km southwest of Melbourne in Victoria. Polypropylene resins are manufactured here from propylene feedstock obtained from local refineries and petrochemical plants. Our products help customers enhance food safety and access through lightweighting of packaging, as well as protect the purity of our water supply through stronger and more versatile pipes. Our high performance polyolefins are clearer, more durable and easier to process than standard grades, improving the transparency, reseal capabilities and lightweighting of packaging. Our new resins used in beverage packaging deliver clear and tougher end products with faster processing. We supply high melt flow copolymers with freeze impact characteristics, which allow customers to develop reusable and strong polypropylene containers. Our supply of copolymers allow converters to down gauge parts making thinner drinking cups while utilising less energy. We deliver high-strength polymers used to produce gas, water and sewage pipes that are highly durable and long lasting. 4

6 REGIONAL JOINT VENTURE (JV) SUPPLIERS We offer a full suite of polypropylene and polyolefin products to the Australia and New Zealand markets through our local manufacturing facility and regional JV suppliers. With our highperforming assets in the region, global reach, dedicated local team and highly reliable local manufacturing site, LyondellBasell Australia is well positioned to continue being the supplier of choice for our customers. Al Waha Petrochemical Company Al Waha Petrochemical Company was commissioned in 2011 and is located in Saudi Arabia. The company is a joint venture between LyondellBasell and Sahara Petrochemical Company. Al Waha uses LyondellBasell s Spherizone reactor technology, and its major products include benchmark injection moulding impact copolymers that have a medium to high melt flow rate. PolyMirae Company Ltd PolyMirae Company Ltd was founded in 2000 and is located in South Korea. The company is a joint venture between LyondellBasell and Daelim. PolyMirae uses LyondellBasell s Spheripol technology, and its major products include a wide range of polypropylene, such as very high impact copolymers, high clarity random and impact copolymers and high melt flow rate metallocene polypropylenes. HMC Polymers Co Ltd HMC Polymers Co Ltd was founded in 1987 and is located in Thailand. The company is a LyondellBasell joint venture partner with the PTTGC group and other Thai national investors. HMC Polymers uses LyondellBasell s Spheripol and Spherizone technology, and its major products include a wide range of polypropylene such as terpolymers, high crystalline polypropylene and specialty polypropylene copolymers (for pipe applications). HMC Polymers also manufacture medical grades, Purell, for Asia Pacific market. 6
