3 Introduction by Orla Collins, President, ACCA Ireland I am pleased to introduce the ACCA Ireland CPD Programme I am delighted to serve as your President and I look forward to meeting you at some of the events in the coming year. By attending ACCA courses, you can develop your skills base, and you can also avail of the opportunity to network with your peers. Networking is particularly relevant in the current economic climate so I would encourage you to participate as much as possible in ACCA events. This programme has been designed by your fellow members in consultation with the Members Services team at ACCA Ireland and I would like to thank members throughout the country for their input and on-going support.
