Good sea connections Close to Panama Channel ZEDE-QUITO Ecuador International routes from the airport A key point in Andean Corridor Near Manaus, a key center Mariscal Sucre International Airport High impact project An intelligent infrastructure with tax and tariff incentives to: Develop high value industrial and services activities, international market-oriented Develop an offering of advanced services for businesses Be a center of reference for international logistics Versatile and large area 207 hectares, close to Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Quito, with capacity for more than 250 companies 1 of services and manufacturing Since 2018 with a long term vision ZEDE-QUITO will be launched in 2018 with a few core companies and services From then on, ZEDE-QUITO will develop a sectorial plan for being instrument of change in the productive structure and competitiveness and improving the external projection of its influential area by Source: Occupation ratio of 40% and an average area of m2 for a manufacturing company, for a logistics company and 433 m2 for a services company Source of images: Latin American Development Bank (Regional Logistics Development in Latin America); Mariscal Sucre International Airport
4 An intelligent Free Trade Zone in Quito ZEDE-QUITO Incentives Key location: Latin American communications node with good connection with some of the main points of Colombia, Peru and Brazil and close to Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Quito Customs-approved treatment: simple procedures for the entry and exit of goods Duty-free concession for the foreign goods that enter the area for authorized processes, both for administrators and operators, with the support and oversight of ZEDE-QUITO Economic and financial incentives 1 : 0% VAT tariff on transfers and imports, as long as the imported goods are exclusively destined to the authorized area or incorporated into a production process developed in the area Tax credit for the VAT paid in the purchase of raw materials, consumable goods and services that come from the national territory and are used in the production process Exoneration of the Tax on the Remittance of Currencies for foreign payments, both for the amortization of the principal and interests of loans and for import payments Additional reduction of 5% in income tax It means 2 about 250,000$ of annual savings in income taxes for a company with profits of 5M$ and 2,420,000$ of annual savings related to imports for the amount of 10M$ Advanced services: IT, hosting, data center, logistics, R&D& innovation, laboratories, networking and many more 1 This incentives are applicable for the duration of accreditation of administrator / operator ZEDE.
