2 reveals 18.2% growth as league table is published The network has grown by 18.2% following strategic recruitment efforts resulting in a total fee income now approaching $0.5bn. Accountancy Age, a leading source of news and analysis for the accounting profession, cited in an article referring to its latest league table that international groups grew overall by 10%; meaning that Russell Bedford s increase has almost doubled this rate. Welcoming a staggering 20+ new members to the network, 2018 has been a significant year for the Russell Bedford network with new firms joining across all regions of the globe. Particular focus in developing the Middle East and Africa resulted in fee growth across both regions, with 24% and 38% increases respectively. The network also saw 17% growth in Asia Pacific, with steady growth in Europe and North America of over 10% in each. Read more... Stuttgart / Freiburg member, LFK, merges with Leisle GmbH Russell Bedford's Stuttgart / Freiburg member, LFK Limberger Fuchs Koch & Partner, has announced the expansion of the firm as a result of its merger with Leisle GmbH, a Tuttlingen based tax consultancy and auditing company. Founded by Pamela Leisle, tax consultant, auditor and expert consultant for international tax law, Leisle GmbH has been very successfully advising predominantly medium-sized companies in Tuttlingen and the surrounding region for many years. 3 Hallidays client Didsbury Gin secures 'Dragons' Den' investment A client of Russell Bedford's Manchester member has secured investment from a British entrepreneur on hit BBC TV show 'Dragons' Den'. On Sunday 13 January viewers watched Didsbury Gin owners, Liam Manton and Mark Smallwood, deliver an impressive pitch which secured 67,500 for 30% of the business from British entrepreneur and dragon, Jenny Campbell. Jenny (a lover of gin, who also has her own gin bar) will bring a wealth of experience to help Didsbury Gin and her wide range of contacts will further support their ambitious growth plans. Judith is a German CPA (Wirtschaftsprüfer) and German tax advisor with over 15 years of experience with PWC Saarbrücken (Germany) as Senior Manager in their valuation department. Judith is developing and heading the valuation department in Luxembourg and has extensive knowledge in preparing/reviewing valuation and purchase price allocation (PPA) reports. 5 Leavers Our Eindhoven member, De Groof Accountants, has been sold to a large national consolidator, Accon Avm Groep B.V. As Accon Avm has offices throughout the Netherlands including near the offices of our other Dutch members it was regrettably not feasible for De Groof to remain in our network. The firm has therefore resigned and we are seeking a replacement member in the Eindhoven area. We would welcome introductions to any connections you may have to firms in this region who may be looking to join an international group or who may not be satisfied with their existing affiliation. In the meantime, our members in Apeldoorn, Groningen, The Hague, Schiphol-Amsterdam, etc., will be able to provide any assistance you require in the Netherlands.
