1 No.26 No.26 (May (cont) 2003) (Rev.1 Apr 2004) (Rev.2 Dec 2007) Procedure for reporting the number of ships issued with certification in accordance with the ISPS Code 1 Background This Procedural Requirement supersedes the requirement to provide monthly lists for publication on the IACS website by an annual report for the use of IACS members. 2 Annual report of certification In January each year, each society is to send to the other societies and to the Permanent Secretariat the number of ships for which the society has issued the ISSC certificate, or performs the audits for the certificate issued by the flag Administration, which are in effect as of 1 January 1. Note: 1. Rev.2 of this Procedural Requirement applies to IACS Members and Associates from 1 July 'certificates in effect as of 1 January' includes both interim and full term certificates. 2 IACS Procedural Requirements (May 2003) Rev. 1 (Apr 2004) Procedure for Reporting the List of Ships complying with ISPS Code 1. Background The aim of this Procedural Requirement is to establish a list of ships complying with ISPS Code with a view to making the list available for IACS Members and Associates as well as external organisations in a controlled manner. 2 Reporting 2.1 IACS Members and Associates shall establish a list of ships certified as complying with ISPS Code 2.2 The cumulative up-to date list shall be saved in an Excel file and be provided to the Permanent Secretariat within two weeks after the closing date. 2.3 The list shall contain the information given in this Procedural Requirement in the format given in Annex Date information should be given in DD/MM/YYYY format with all the digits properly entered to facilitate the information recognised as "date" by the IACS database. 2.5 Names of Flag States should be given as listed in Annex Commencing with the report covering data to the end of July 2003, reports shall be provided monthly. 3 Disclosure of Information to External Organisations 3.1 The database information may be disclosed as a list through IACS Ltd. externally without restrictions. The information disclosed shall include the disclaimer as given in the appendix to this Procedural Requirement. Note: This Procedural Requirement (Rev.1) applies to data submitted to the Permanent Secretariat after 30 April 2004

Convention or Voluntary (C or V) 11 Date of issue 12 Date of expiry Footnote RSO means the IACS Member Society authorised as a recognised security organisation in accordance with SOLAS Ch X1-2 and the ISPS Code Part B. Statement of Compliance (SoC) is issued by an IACS Member Society in the following circumstances: Where instructed by the Administration on completion of the on board verification before 1 July 2004 Where the Administration will issue an ISSC based on the on board verification performed by the RSO. Convention certificate (C) is the one issued by the flag Administration, or an IACS Member Society on behalf of the flag Administration, following the verification of compliance with SOLAS XI-2 and other national requirements. Voluntary certificate (V) is the one issued by the IACS Member Society in circumstances other than those identified as Convention Certificates. Examples of these certificates can be: Vessels that do not trade internationally Vessels that are of a less Gross Tonnage than required by the Code 2

If SoC issued, column 10 to be left blank. 5. Duplicate entries: the monthly lists are cumulative updates.
