2 2 Government Gazette - 15 October 1990 o. 89 Government otices DEPARTMET OF WORKS, TRASPORT AD COMMUICATIO o ASSIGMET OF REGISTRATIO MARKS FOR DISTRICTS, SUBDISTRICTS AD AREAS UDER THE ROAD TRAFFIC ORDIACE, 1967 Under section 7(1) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, 1967 (Ordinance 30 of 1967), I hereby- (a) assign to every registering authority of the district, subdistrict or area mentioned in Column I of the Schedule the letter or combination of letters mentioned in Column 2 of the Schedule opposite such district, subdistrict or area, as the registration mark to be borne by all motor vehicles registered in the area of jurisdiction of such registering authority; (b) assign the said new registration mark to every such registering authority with effect from I January 1991: Provided that - (i) such registration mark may be added to the existing registration number; and (ii) such registration mark may, with the effect from I September 1990, in the case of a motor vehicle which is registered on or after that date, be borne by such motor vehicle: Provided further that such new registration mark shall be borne by every motor vehicle with effect from 7 March 1992; and (c) with effect from I January (i) repeal Government otice 195 of 1967 and Government otice 157 of 1970; and (ii) amend - ( aa) Government otice 146 of 1972 by the deletion of subparagraph (ii) of paragraph I and column 4;

5 o. 89 Government Gazette - 15 October 1990 s MUICIPALITY OF GROOTFOTEI o AMEDMET OF ATIVE LOCATIO REGULATIOS The council of the Municipality of Grootfontein has under section 32(2) of the atives (Urban Areas) Proclamation 1951 (Proclamation 56 of 1951) further amended the regulations promulgated under Government otice 128 of 1964, as set out in the Schedule. The said amendments have been approved by the President under section 32( 4) of the said Proclamation, Schedule "V" is hereby amended - SCHEDULE (a) by the substitution in paragraph 3(a) for the amounts "Rl2,00", "Rl5 00" "R40 00" and "R66 00" of the amounts "Rl4 40" "R20 00" "R48,00" ' ' and "R72,00", ' respectively; ' ' ' ' ' (b) by the substitution in paragraph 3(b) for the amounts "R23,00", "Rl5,00", "R51,00" and "R77,00" of the amounts "R29,00", "Rl8,00", "R61,00" and "R83,00", respectively; (c) by the substitution in paragraph 4(c) for the amount "R8,61" of the amount "R 10,33 "; (d) by the substitution in paragraph 9(b) for the amount "R8,50" of the amount "R9,35". MUICIPALITY OF GROOTFOTEI o AMEDMET OF WATER SUPPLY REGULATIOS The council of the Municipality of Grootfontein has under section 242 of the Municipal Ordinance, 1963 (Ordinance 13 of 1963) further amended the regulations promulgated under Government otice 131 of 1939, as set out in the Schedule. The said amendments have been approved by the President under section 243 of the said Municipal Ordinance, 1963.

Schedule B is hereby amended by - (a) the substitution in item 1 for the amount "R3,30" wherever it occurs, of the amount "R3,50" and for the amount "R0,45" of the amount "R0,47"; (b) by the substitution in item 2 for the amount "R2, 15" of the amount "R2,37"; (c) the substitution in item 3 for the amount "R2,15" of the amount "R2,37"; (d) the substitution in item 4 for the amount "R4,25" of the amount "R4,68"; (e) the substitution in item 8 for the amount "R0,40" of the amount "R0,42".
