2 TEO Derivatives V3 The Straight Through Processing Solution TEO Derivatives is an electronic order management system that provides a Straight Through Processing solution. if you are using multiple trading platforms. It provides a central database containing details on all orders that have been processed regardless of the trading platform or market. You can choose to connect TEO Derivatives directly to the market through its own exchange gateways, or to your trading platforms. TEO Derivatives can be connected to your Trading System(s) through specially developed gateways. It will then capture the working orders as well as the trade confirmations. This configuration would enables you to benefit from a seamless STP solution from Front to Back Office while still giving you flexibility in the choice of your trading platforms. The TEO Derivatives Export Module allows integration with your trade matching system and other Back Office systems. - Connected to the Trading System(s) - Connected Directly to the Exchange(s) TEO Derivatives can work independently from your trading systems by being connected directly to the market through its own exchange gateways. It will read the trade executions and present them back to the trader for allocation. This configuration enables you to concentrate the data of all processed orders into one single open database, even 2

3 TEO Derivatives V3 Main features Creating Tickets: With TEO Derivatives, tickets can be created in two ways: Manually, If the customer order price is out of the market, for GTC, STOP,... orders, for orders made on markets on which A broker/trader is not connected via an electronic feed (ie cash, physical products). Or generated from n trades that the trader will have selected from the Market interface of TEO Derivatives. TEO Derivatives has its own gateways that read and capture in real-time market executions. In some cases non executed orders can be captured and inserted into TEO Derivatives (eg: when TEO Derivatives is connected to a trading system). Manual Input: In this case the ticket is created from the Input Order interface of TEO Derivatives. This input can be done with either the computer keyboard, the use of the mouse only, or with touch screens only Particular functionalities enable rapid ticket creation. In the case of fast moving markets, partial tickets can be created if needed. Only the account number is mandatory to create a ticket. This ticket is time-stamped and can be completed later. The input of complex strategies, eg, crush spreads, is carried out via a dedicated window where a single validation can create the n number of legs of the ticket. For each ticket the following additional fields can be filled: Executing broker Specific give up reference Specific fees Free comments destined to middle office users A broker can create a ticket with no final allocation for the account of a second or partnered broker. The second broker will receive in real-time on his own TEO Derivatives the executed trades as if he had created them himself. Every single ticket is time stamped and registered in an audit trail. Tickets can be exported regularly to your internal systems (Risk Management, Trade Matching System, Back Office,...) or the systems of your final customers. Generated from executed trades: In this case the ticket is created from the Market interface of TEO Derivatives. Multiple trades can be selected and allocated simultaneously or sent to another trader that is using TEO Derivatives. Multiple trades can be split simultaneously (Cf splits ) 3

4 Ticket modification All characteristics of a ticket (except the time stamp) can be modified. After each modification the ticket can be re-exported to your internal systems or the systems of your final customers. All ticket modifications are registered in TEO Derivatives Audit Trail. Splits Each ticket can be allocated to multiple accounts or sent to multiple traders. Each split can contain accounts as well as traders. Each split can be saved by the trader for re-use. Each split can be imported from a file, an , a database, etc... Selecting tickets All screens in TEO Derivatives (Input Order, Market, ) have at the bottom of the page a detailed input box that activates a filter. This enables the trader to filter the trades he is authorised to view. The filtering covers all characteristics of a ticket or trade (N, contract, account,...). Reporting TEO Derivatives has a number of reporting screens that give traders and Middle Office operators access to daily activity or past history (all tickets created from the first day of use of TEO Derivatives can be accessed at the click of the mouse). Reporting for the Middle Office: This screen shows tickets sorted by Market / Contract Reporting for the Trader: This screen shows tickets sorted by Account / Market / Contract With one single click of the mouse TEO Derivatives can generate an detailing the daily executions or history for a particular final customer. These s or reports can be generated from a selection of tickets filtered by Account, Contract, Price,... Audit Trail The Audit Trail gives access to all events that take place on all tickets generated on TEO Derivatives. Any insertion or modification will appear with a time stamp and the modified characteristic is clearly highlighted. All tickets can be accessed whether from the current daily activity or passed history. 4
