1 PUNE CHAPTER PUNE CHAPTER OF WIRC OF ICSI ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION SCHEMES Dear Professional Colleagues, As you are aware, Pune Chapter of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) always organizes series of programs including various professional development programs on contemporary issues and on topics of emerging importance to the CS Professionals. The Financial year will be highlighted with evolvement of the Companies Act, 2013 and Companies Amendment Bill 2016, SEBI LODR Regulations, introduction of Secretarial Standards I and II, developments in Foreign Exchange regulations, Introduction of Insolvency Code and what not on the regulatory front. We at the Pune chapter will be arranging many Capacity Building Programs for our members, in order get equipped to face the challenges as a governance and compliance professionals. We are confident that members are benefiting from the series of programs organized by the Pune Chapter and sincerely thank you for your overwhelming response to all programs organized by the Pune chapter. This motivates us and encourages us to bring out variety of programs of Capacity Building and Professional Interest for our fraternity. We are determined to continue on the same path, needless to say, with your contribution and continuous support. Pune Chapter in its endeavor to offer maximum benefits to its Members has been offering the Annual Contribution Scheme for past few years. This Year the enthusiastic Team of Pune Chapter (Team Pune) declared March Month as the Program Month and has organized many programs providing coverage to the burning issues in the Corporate World as well as the programs on some offbeat but related topics like IPR & ESOP and has offered in all 29 Credit Hours. Pune Chapter has also established Six Study Circles in different parts of the Pune city and conducting Study Circle Meetings at these places on Saturdays will be a unique and regular feature soon. In order to facilitate the members to register for the programs and pay discounted fees and get benefits, Pune Chapter is pleased to announce Annual Contribution Schemes during the year , valid for a period of 12 months from the date of registration to this scheme. Pune Chapter would like to be a partner in your progress and also requests you to be a partner in the Chapter s progress. The Scheme is as follows: 1. Annual Contribution Scheme entitled to total waiver in fees for attending programs arranged by Pune Chapter Annual Contribution Scheme II (ACS II) The Salient Features of both the Annual Contribution Schemes are attached. 2 ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION SCHEME I (ACS I) Who can become a member of this Scheme: Members of ICSI Contribution to become member of the Scheme: Rs. 2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand only) per annum Benefits of a member of this Scheme: a. Discounted Fees Member will be entitled for a 10% discount on fees for ALL PROGRAMS except Joint, Regional & National Programs and residential programs (Includes: Study Circle Meetings, Half Day Seminar, Full Day Seminar and Non Residential Workshops / programs / conferences organized by the Pune Chapter of WIRC of ICSI) b. Other Benefits: Free entry to ALL Study Circle Meetings organized by Pune Chapter of ICSI Free entry to Foundation Day* Program and contributory Dinner Free Participation in any two events of Sports Meet*. *These events shall be organized as per the guidelines of ICSI c. Service Tax at the applicable rate would be payable on the amount of discounted subscription fees for the program. 3 ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION SCHEME II (ACS II) Who can become a Member? Subscription fees payable Members of ICSI 8, Firm of Practicing Company Secretaries / Corporates 10, Non Members of ICSI 11, * Corporates intending to avail 3 or more memberships of ACS II scheme are entitled to get a discount of 10% on the aforesaid subscription fees. Benefits of a member of this Scheme: Free entry to ALL MEMBERS PROGRAMS organized by Pune Chapter of ICSI except Joint, Regional & National Programs and residential programs (Includes: Study Circle Meetings, Half Day Seminar, Full Day Seminar, and Non Residential Workshops/ Seminars/ Conferences conducted independently by the Pune Chapter) Non Entitlement Joint Programs with HO / RCs / any other professional institute or other educational or non-educational institute or organization / National Level Programs (organized by HO)/ Regional program and Conferences / Residential Programs/ Student Programs or any other programs not specified above. Preference to get enrolled over other non ACS members just by communicating to the chapter about your willingness to attend the specific program. Right to Depute: ACS II Members who are Corporate / PCS Firm / Individuals are entitled to depute one of their Representatives. In case of Corporate Member any of their employee / trainee; in case of a PCS Firm any of their partner / employee / trainee; and in case of individuals, any of his/her employee / trainee from office to attend any program held during the period of 12 months. It is to be noted that, - Person attending such program should be employed with the Individual / PCS Firm / Corporate; and - Credit Hours for the program will be allotted to a person attending such program. - Members will not be entitled to depute a trainee or an employee who is not a member of the Institute for the programs specially designed for the Members of the Institute or for the programs for which entry to the students of the ICSI is restricted or prohibited. 4 Terms and Conditions Payment of ACS II Subscription by way of Cheque / Demand draft in favour of Pune Chapter of ICSI payable at Pune or through Online payment (Instructions provided below). Validity For a period of 12 months from the date of registration to this scheme Entitlement of Benefits Only to the Programs specified above Non Entitlement Joint Programs with HO / RCs / any other professional institute or other educational or non-educational institute or organization / National Level Programs (organized by HO)/ Regional program and Conferences / Residential Programs/ Student Programs or any other programs not specified above. Members are not entitled to depute associates or member employed in the other group company or any other person or associate. While registering for the program, quoting of membership number is mandatory. Credit Hours would be granted as per guidelines of the Institute on compulsory attendance to the individual attending the respective program/s. Membership of the Scheme does not assure any reserved or preferential seat for any program unless intimated to Pune Chapter office in advance. The Chapter may offer discount to CSBF Members or any other class of members as well, at its sole discretion. The members are requested to kindly note that, they can avail of only one discount at any point of time, subject to eligibility, unless otherwise stated) Online payment instructions: 1.
